Hello all,

I am not an Element owner yet. Still looking. I have been to the dealer twice to look (one test drive) and both times forgot a tape measure. I am curious how well this vehicle will accept a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood. My wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee falls short to many smaller suvs when it comes to this task. Also, I am curious as to what the the minimum height is(floor to ceiling). I would like to be able to haul an on/off road motorcycle in it on occasion and the bike is about 48" tall at the handlebars.

hi just ran out to my Element to check for ya

it is 4ft ceiling to floor.
4 ft wide (at the narrowest point , little wider as you go up. )
5 ft from the back of the front see to the back window.
