I have to share this photo with you as we are so proud of our rack system. Many thanks to Yakima for the wonderful rack systems that we have used over the years. And to my better half Kevin who drilled all the holes in my roof while I was at work.

To all those dealers and stores who told us it couldn't be done here it is.

Maybe its my eyes, but there seems to be something different about it. It does not look like you have the cross bars.

Also, canadian or us, and if canadian what did this set up cost. I talked my girlfriend into buying a bike so now we need a system for haul the bike to the cabin. (enough room for 1 bike and all the gear and dog inside but not enough for 2 bikes)

There are definitly cross bars there. That's what the bike mounts are attached to.

I have a Yakima rack that I got for my previous car so I'm waiting for them to come out with the proper mounts for the Element. I don't need a rack bad enough to go drilling holes in the Element's roof. I can wait a little.
