Did U get your tires? I'm loving them, especially in the snow we are getting!
Have fun all!

Yes Silface, I got my Nokian Hakkapeliiitta Sport Utility 5 last week. I can't wait to have the next real snow storm or ice storm to have them tested. I do also love the VSA system on slippery surfaces (snow and ice).

I bought my tires from a local retailler. Taking into account the duty and sales taxes, installation fees and shipping charges for US order tires, I did not buy over border. I could even have new 16" steel wheels for only 22.83$CDN each! At that price, they are not TPMS compatible, but I do not care.

Up to now, I did one modification on my Element.

Hi Northman! Tires are great! I tallied the savings for U with the duty included.. Seems U got steel rims there to your liking and seem happy! As-tu des photos de la chaufferette et le filage? Amuses toi dans la neige!

I don't got TMPS sensor too! The rims were delivered with CRV sensors or some aftermarket type! Supposedly the sensors for the E have to be for E & any other honda models of the same year won't work! I laughed in the honda parts person face! Told him it doesn't make sense! How many sensor are they going to be on the market if every car has to have thier own sensors! His reply: That's why he still has a job with all these parts... Doesn't matter, just got the light on for now!

Hello, bonjour....
I will pick up my new toy tomorrow and Im very excited. A 2003 EX 4wd.
Glad to join the family. And Crazy Canadian, I have a shack in the woods south of Magog so we re almost neighbours heh :)
Can t wait to try it in the new snow we just got, hope it will go up the hill to get to the shack, the salesmen told me that those babies go almost anywhere. I hope so, changed my F-150 for it. I got 4 new snow tires on it. We ll see.... If you dont hear no more from me, its because Im stuck in a snow bank somewhere up in the mountains of Eastern townships and will get back this spring.
Anyway, bla bla bla. Just very happy to join the family guys.
Salut...

How do you like those side boards, are they really practical and if so, where did you get yours.... It seems that you actually use your E for camping with those cabana and side curtains.... do you sleep in it or in a tent.
All for now.... talk later TO buddy :-D

e's great for camping, the cabana's just a little extra. it's great for sleeping, although i recommend removing the back seats first.

i actually bought my e slightly used (5000km) and it already had the side steps installed. if i had to buy them my self i likely would'nt bother.
the more ground clearance i can get the better.

Don't worry, Habs will choke when playoffs come around! It is becoming a tradition... Guess, their learning comes from the west like the wind!
Enjoy the weekend!
