i have heard and read alot about people using wax over their pannels and leaving unwanted marks on there. Has anyone tried using wax remover for surfboards or snowboards? I use it all the time and it basically allow me to remove anything that is kinda sticky. maybe it will work for pannels as well

Don't think it'll hurt. The wax remover is basically a citrus-based solvent, much like Goo Gone. The only concern may be that the wax remover may "dry out" whatever finish you already have on the panel e.g. Mother's B2B, Aerospace 303, etc. which may cause some discoloration and make you re-treat the panel. Just follow the universal disclaimer for any solvent or chemical cleaner... "Test in an inconspicuous area first"! :D
