I just installed my hitch and it took me including finding the right tools!! about 10 minutes...BUT there is alwys a BUT!!!

The wiring!!!! I got a wiring kit that should fit, but the instructions are rubbish, they tell you nothing!!
So i printed out the honda harness...and this tells me to take the whole right side of the car apart!!! great!!

I hope that there is someone out there that has a better (faster) less invasive!! plan.....

Hitch is from hidden hitch.com and they ship everything over $100 for free!! I paid 139.50 for hitch wiring harness and 2" 'knob' (or whatever you call it)

If you follow the honda accessories instructions, it's really not that difficult. Less than an hour, I'd say.

I went for it.....downloaded the PDF file from Honda and have taken the whole right inside of the car apart!!! This is a major operation!! But the instructions are amazing....I had to take the bumper off just to be able to reach the wire coming through a little whole just behind it...

I don't understand why Honda doesn't make that stupid plug easier to reach, there are so many plastic caps on that side and why not just put that plug behind one of them...this whole operation cost me about 2 hours...and you have to be very careful not to break one of those plastic clips!!! very careful not to damage the plastic!!

I hope it works..I have no tester, so i have to wait till my trailer arrives!

The hitch was from hidden hitch (10minutes to put this inplace!) the electrical was from them too, no instructions!!!

goodluck to you out there taking on this BIG task!!!
