Rumor has it that the rear glass/wall (not shown) is removeable as well as the bed cover for an open air ride. Unlike many extra-cab pickups, the Element SUT does not have any rear "jump" seats. Instead Honda prefers to leave the area available for cargo, which can be easily loaded and unloaded via the opposite opening rear doors. With the back wall and bed cover removed, optional "rumble" seats can be fastened into the bed area for two additional passengers for a total of 4, like the Element. The interior has the same waterproof seating and urethane flooring which runs the full length into the bed. The truck bed is not designed for heavy duty use, such as hauling dirt or construction materials, but rather for hauling light items like garbage cans or smelly sports gear. It will come in colors not available to the standard Element, like Screaming Yellow Pearl, and Dark Maroon Metallic. Slated for Q4 2004 introduction as a 2005 model.
Simon 02-23-2003, 11:48 PM I'm sorry I think that it looks silly with that "lowered" look. Now, this one is for 18 year olds....
isketerol 02-24-2003, 05:56 AM It makes me wonder if I should tell Honda that I am dumping a Chevy S-10 LS Extended Cab to get the "E". What that new model is, is the same as the vehicle I am dumping to get the "E" - it has all of the detriments of the S10 and none of the advantages.
Iskie
Ouch that does not even have much of the look of an E. :?
I know I would pass on that thing.
ibutchman 02-24-2003, 12:39 PM Nope,
No advance order from me. YUCK!
I'm the age demographic, but I don't like that..
puppy 02-24-2003, 01:27 PM are you sure that's for real? that just doesn't seem right....
patedugan 02-24-2003, 02:21 PM It's okay, but it makes me wish they offered that screamin' yellow now. I definitely would have gone with it.
trackboy1001 02-24-2003, 06:52 PM Where did you find that image. I have browsed the net for hours looking for any mention of an Element SUT and come up with nothing. Is there a site that talks about this concept, or is this a 'doctored' image that we are looking at?
Alien Element 02-24-2003, 09:36 PM http://home.earthlink.net/~alienfarms/images/Brown.jpg
Who me??? doctor a photo... NO!!!
Have you seen UPS's new ad campaign? Seems like they like the Element as well... They are trying to attract younger male drivers to improve their image and lower their payroll...
trackboy1001 02-24-2003, 09:53 PM Could you imagine??? Nascar would REALLY wanna' race the truck!
Nice job on the pictures!

SpcCwby30 03-25-2003, 04:31 PM I love those designs - I wish I had learned to use those types of programs when I was in advertising :-(
txsuncatcher 04-02-2003, 11:05 PM I was a supervisor for UPS for many years and mostly a glorified driver delivering out of my personal vehicle (pre-97 strike) and would have loved to have the UPS-E. Thanks for the post!
lol....for grins, should put DJ's 88 on it and the flames from their racing package car.
ShaneS 07-05-2003, 11:50 PM Kindof reminds me of a Subaru Baja!
JesseL22 07-06-2003, 11:16 AM cant wait to see this
StLouisPenguin 07-06-2003, 11:30 AM The UPS E is sweet! Very cool....maybe more people would want to be UPS drivers if they got to drive that! The New UPS Store owners would be smart to get those and tool around town in them 8)
dougola 07-06-2003, 02:44 PM Very creative! Keep them coming, I enjoy ridng on someone else's imagination! :D

Gardener 08-06-2003, 11:20 AM Hi I'm Shelley a.k.a. "Gardener" and as you might suspect, I am a gardener!! What I'd like to see is an "E" in all one color, I'm sure someone must've posted a pic or a doctored up pic? I just joined today even though I got my green "E" in Feb!!! CIAO!! GARDENER!!
ExpressElement 08-07-2003, 12:12 PM Sorry, the "2005 Element SUT" is just a photoshopped pic off another website, it is not for real.
misfit 08-07-2003, 06:37 PM stolen from aliens' web site,,,,fed ex e... (http://home.earthlink.net/~alienfarms/images/fedex.jpg).....

While it is true that it is not real, it's not from another website - I created it and posted it here first!
tapestry 08-12-2003, 08:46 PM i like the brown! great job!
now, can someone make some mac os X icons of the elements?
klynch13 09-12-2003, 03:53 PM I can see that alien spends a lot of time in photoshop. I design book jackets and I work in it all day. It is a great program. I saw your pics. I like the bud car.
scott6428 04-18-2004, 11:18 AM thought the SUT was great, he wanted me to buy a subaru baja before we saw the E.
lucifer 04-21-2004, 02:06 PM I think it would sell as a competitor to the toyota scion.
More of a boulvard cruiser (modern day el camino) than anything else.
The surfers would like it too boards on top dogs and bikin babes in the back for cruising to the beach...

Bikini babes in back? you gotta be kidding me. They're either on your lap or right next to you on the bench seat. boards and a cooler full of brews in the back!
dorkus610 06-10-2004, 07:18 PM looks like a baja for little people... interesting color tho...
Isn't Honda already coming out with something with the designation SUT.
Shouldn't a modified "truck" Element be a Sport LIGHT Utility Truck, or SLUT ?
Just a thought

brendan 06-14-2004, 06:11 PM I dunno, of the two, the E seems more SLUTty since it's got seats that reconfigure into a bed...
