I will try to make a long story short... I got sick of my non-intergrated radio (uses radio frequency not a direct link through antenna) signal getting all kinds of noise driving into work because I live in a heavily populated state (connecticut) and there many radio stations in the area, so I called Sirius to cancel my subscription. When I called the guy on the other end asked why and when I told him why he said they were aware of the problem and he would send me modulator (hooks into radio antenna), I said I really didnt want to pull apart the dash on my new Element just for a radio and he said he would throw in a new radio and a free install card. I decided to take him up on the deal. Now I have this install card for someone to install and I didnt know if someone out there has gotten one of these and used it. I believe the radio in my '07 Element has an anti-theft on it and I am concerned about having some electronic store messing with it. Thoughts or experiences?
Thanks all.

The antenna modulator is no big deal to install. I had one on my old work van, a Windstar. The antenna on that car is incorporated into a side read window. Lousy place!
I'm not familiar with the card deal. Where is it supposed to seat?
Try the modulator! It works wonderfully.

best to go on word of mouth for the install, but the FM modulator will work like a charm. I installed one on my wifes car and its great. I have the Aux input on my EX so no problem there.
Good luck!

Thanks. Sorry for being slow but are you saying that I can get to the antenna input easily? I remember putting second hand stereos in my junkers in highschool/college but was concerned that the anti theft would keep me from getting the the rear of the stereo. Is there another point, besides where the antenna plugs into the back of the stereo to put the modulator?
Thanks for the replies.
P.s. The install card is a "gift card" for free installation at a particpating dealer but after looking for dealers none are honda dealers. I dont want to mess up the warranty.

I havn't really kept up to date on what they've changed since 05(mine) but the anti theft for the radio was a simple code. If power was disconnected from the radio (aka disconnect the battery or unplug the hu) then it wouldn't turn on until you entered the code. The dealer should have given you a card with the code in it or something. However, i don't even think you have to unplug anything except the antenna so it shouldn't be a problem at all. I think. Maybe someone can back me up on this.
