I already requested the 19th off, i'm almost sure i'll get it off. I will make some potato salad and marinate some BBQ Chicken. I have some coolers to help keep stuff cool and an EZ-up 10x10 shade also a 3x6 folding table that I can bring. Sorry can't help witrh a grill I have one but it's kind of big and won't even fit in my E. Looking forward to this meet and eat...

I'm pretty sure I'm good to go too, but you know me... Gotta throw in my $0.02, but just as a suggestion, I think we should meet at the upper end at the Tennis Complex/Pool; same place we always do when we meet at CORP.

Let's leave the lower parking to the weekend sluggers and soccer mom's. The upper end has plenty of parking, an ash pit, picnic tables, plenty of shade and grass, and restrooms at the Tennis Complex or pool. I could be wrong, but baseball players and soccer families are more likely to picnic than tennis players...

If we get there early, there's a good chance we can occupy that one corner of the parking lot and the picnic tables aren't more than 20-30 yards away, across the access road.

Again, just me barking, but think about it.

I'm great at eating but am not good at food prep or cooking. Just let me know what to bring.

Good idea K,
Is it possible for you to get there a little early I am not too familiar with that whole park....like I said I got a small hibach and I can bring some steaks but I am not sure if that would be enough meat...If possible fill in as possible.
Me-- little steak--some rice-- and some drinks --
Nalu/shelley -- bbq chicken/ potato salad

Okay, shouldn't be a problem... Basically, the same place where we usually meet over there, same place as the photo class meet.

Seems like the rice is covered... I can bring perhaps salad greens and something else (Costco veggie wrap)?

i'll try to make it but i'll have to play it by ear. the closer we get to the date, the better idea i'll have. i could probably swing by the waipio costco to pick up some stuff if i can make it...

K-Dogg you hit it right on the nose that would be a great idea to have the picnic/BBQ up there it's the least crowded spot. I live the closest to the park and I can go early to try and grab one of the prime table locations for us. I don't know about saving the parking though but we can plan as we go. I also got some genuine "smoked meat" from the big island that we can put on the grill that will go good with rice and salad. It would be good to get a head count so we know how much to prepare?

Hey Turbo maybe you can bring some soft drinks "no need cook or prepare".
