: I am not sure I can ever go back....

I just totally cleaned my car, inside and out. Summer has been busy and I have not gotten to it in a while, but after this weekend of hiking, camiping and wet dogs, I had to clean it.

I am not sure I could go back to cloth and carpets again. My car was filthy inside, dust, dirt, grimey windows, dog hair and mud. Now it is totally clean inside and out.

I have never ever cleaned a car as much as I do my Element. I never gave it much thought. Wash and vaccum it out but that is all. So much dirt and stuff just sat there for years I guess. I do hope that other makes and models come out with this washable interior. I just love it.

It appears that the Element brings out the closeted clean-freak in a lot of people!

Since your car *can* be so sparkling clean on the inside, without the horror of taking your car to have the carpets shampooed, I think it's sort of a natural push to get the car clean.

Cleaning is never fun, but when it's a smaller job, with great results, it's pretty darned close to fun.

yes I do agree. Although I have been a neat freak for a long time, the plastic and rubbery interior does afford the easy sparkling interior that has eluded me in the past. In fact I just cleaned it this morning. Inside and out

I am very lucky because I live on a gravel road which stays dusty most of the time. That gives me an excuse to wash my E about every other day. Unfortunately it has rained every day for the last week and I haven't had an excuse. I dusted it today with a California Duster even though it didn't need it. Darned rain. Hehehe !!!!!!

I just noticed that typing a laugh (hehehe) is short for (H)onda (E)lement. Absolutely everything about this vehicle makes me smile, even typing a laugh.

Getting clean has never been easier on an aching back! Now even i (fibro, baby) can have a car with fresh looking interior. SAVE WATER! Wash your ELEMENT in the RAIN! 8)

Nature Buggy... I am sure you would appreciate the peanut butter polish solution several members have mentioned in this topic string. Very eco-friendly!
