The Element is on order and should be here in a week or so. This gives me time to shop around for the best loans.

For the people who have financed their Element, which institution/online bank did you go with? What were their rates?

So far I got a loan for the whole amount of the car with a rate of 4.49% for 60 months.

Is this a good deal? Besides Lending Tree, what other online site do you recommend?

I got my Element Saturday and financed it through Honda. I got 4.8%, which wasn't too bad considering the small amount I financed.

In Canada, Honda Finance is charging 4.8% for the traditional financing, 6.8% for the Future Value Finance, and 7.3% for the lease. The banks don't seem to be able to do much better.

Do a search on the club site, I remember reading about someone getting 2.9% financing through Honda. In Pennsylvania...I think.

I got 4% through Chase.
