This is my first new thread post so hope everything comes out right.
I have an indash 7" Clarion Dvd Touch Screen Deck w/ Sirius & 2 Amps (1-Rockford 25 to life Punch 2 Chan on my 1- 10" Pioneer Sub & 1- Sony 4 Chan on my mids) amps fit perfect under rear seat and the sub we custom installed it in the rear with fiberglass and vinyl matched paint door speakers are still stock for now but soon they will be changed I am going to do 6" seperates up front and 6" coax in rear & im going to add a drop down for the rear.

that custom box in the back is awesome!

That box is sick. What's the cu. ft. volume on the box? It looks pretty small to be a sealed box for a 10" sub but I guess there might be a lot of room behind the box inside that panel. I've never pulled that panel off.
I've been trying to find a better solution for my 12" sub in the back. Right now I've got a pretty big sealed box (like 1.75 cu ft) which takes up a good bit of room in the back. Do you have any pictures or drawings of the enclosure from when it was being designed or made? I would be curious to see what went into making it. I'm not handy with fiberglass but I've got an excellent mobile audio shop I deal with that could fab the crap out of that thing.

Love the box, zero cargo loss solution. Two thumbs up.

here it goes my friend Brayden from (AVP local stereo shop) had a great time gettin that black pocket off the side he had to pull the side panel almost all the way off to get to some of the clips off we tried 2 of the new pioneer 10"s the TS-SW2541D and it didnt have the sound I wanted it didnt hit any lows then we tried the TS-W257D2 and it sounded great in that small box the total air space we got was like .30 so we were a little to low so we added some poly fill to get the airspace up a little bit and it sounds great it hits the 100+ hertz even down to the 60 hertz lows but remember its just 1 10" the sub calls for as small as .35 up to .75 Brayden and I designed it he is great with fiberglass it took a gallon fiberlgass resin he started with 2 rings and took some carpet stapled it to the rings to get the form and then just started brushing it on it took about 4 coats of fiberglass (love the smell in my new car that last a few weeks...lol) it took him about 2 days after the first few coats it sat over night then he added more waited then started to grind it smooth with 3" grinding disks the he drilled a hole for the wire and then started to wrap it in vinyl I took the plastic piece off the shock tower cover back to work had my boss match the color put it into a spray can then it took him about a can of paint and it turned out great!!! and if your wondering the bottom panel where the spare tire goes still opens fine the 3rd pict show it we didnt have any kind of plans on how to build it he said if he built another one he would charge about $300.00 but I still have all my room in the back and I have a stereo that sounds great i'll post somemore picts of it for you guys copy it show your shops were you go if there good installers they will see how just from the photos

I thought I was doomed to never have a sub. I use my car for work and can't give up the rear floor space. Your solution gave me hope. I'll have to bone up on my fiberglass skills from my surfing days.
Absolutely sweet!

Excellent install! This is almost exactly what I was thinking of fabing. Only difference was that I was thinking of adding the amp right above it into the same housing. Then doing the same thing onto the other side.
How long did it take to remove the pockets? Can we get a sound sample?

I like the Clarion Indash but the draw back is that it blocks the AC.

It took my friend the installer a couple of hours to figure it out because he couldnt get too a couple of the snaps behind the pocket and he had to take the complete left side panel off to make it work and great idea for the amp but you will have to have a small amp mines kinda big so it probally wouldnt look/fit right and I am a newbie how could I get a Sound Sample on here?
