: Hi, new MO guy...
closer9 05-29-2007, 10:08 AM Just figured it was time to stop lurking, and start posting.
The wife and I have had our 07 EX for almost a month now. It was purchased mainly as her driver, but I drive it occasionally too. At first I was a little hesitant, but I'm starting to like it more and more. She's been in love with it since the test drive...
She's already had me add window visors, and carpeted floor mats, plus the Honda trailer harness. I got an 1-1/4" receiver, but we've decided to step up to a 2", so we can put the bikes back there instead...
Just wanted to say hi, great site!
dparrothead1 05-29-2007, 11:16 AM Welcome to the club.......you will find, that more and more, you will be looking for reasons to drive your wife's E....

Welcome to the Cult closer9. Are you in Springfield? Nice area....:D
Post E pics....
gisele 05-29-2007, 09:45 PM "Hey!"
Welcome. You need to go on a road trip. When you do you'll fall madly in love with the E. Then, you'll have to wrangle it away from your wife :D
closer9 05-30-2007, 10:32 AM Thanks for the welcome...
Actually we're in Pineville. A small town about 10 miles north of Arkansas. Just moved here from Arkansas.
We'll probably be taking the Element to Dallas before too much longer. My wife's sisters live there, and we head that way about once a month or so.
I now drive her old Civic which gets around 38mpg, so unless we need the room we usually take the Civic on road trips... However, the Element definitely has more leg room, etc...
Dave M 07-02-2007, 10:37 PM Closer9,
Welcome. Did you get you Element in Springfield from Don Wessel Honda? I tried there but ended up at Regan Honda in Jeff City, nice people there.
EXwSCnose 07-02-2007, 10:54 PM Welcome to the club!
Everyone here is really nice and helpful, - just like every family, there are some diamonds that are still a bit in the rough, but they too will shine eventually!!!
The Rube 07-03-2007, 06:12 AM Welcome to the family. Remember: You can always become a 2-E's family. Ya know, his & hers!! Good luck.
bh241 07-03-2007, 06:34 AM Hi and welcome.
I know exactly how you feel, I bought our E for my wife too...
It's so hard to not take the E as my daily drive, I do believe we will have to be a two E family before long. (well, if the wife really wants one that is.)
Welcome and I second what gisele said about the road trip - catch one of the local meets when you can - you'll love it.
jurneez 07-03-2007, 07:32 AM As everyone else said, welcome.....
