Washed the E yesterday for the first time but did not have the extra time to wax it. I thought about using WAYD but wanted to wait until I put a base coat of good wax on it first. My thinking was that the WAYD might get in the way of the other wax (I plan to wax it within the next week or two). It's my understanding that WAYD is used as a 'between wax' application.

Should I have gone ahead and used the WAYD? Would it affect application of a more permanent wax? Would I have to somehow strip the WAYD off before waxing? Am I a total maroon for not already knowing this? :-|

Thanks for the help; this is the first car I've had that I wanted to keep good looking.
