Has anyone slept in their E yet?
when we go to Poppa's meet we will be doing that, but I have taken the backseats out and now am left with a few rods in the floor that once held the seats. I thought I would have more room, but now I'm thinking I won't let me know if anyone has slept on their front and back seats
Katee:confused:

It'll work out ... a twin sized air mattress on the back floor without the seats may be your cheapest option. Some sleep on a Thermarest back there. A full sized air mattress will fit on top of the back seats and balance out most of the bumps and stuff (I haven't done this).

For ME, the twin mattress works out great and I have plenty of room. I'll be doing just that at Poppa's. :)

Haha, oh geez, just get a new one! It'll cost you $20 at Target or a sporting goods store. You can spend much more, but I'll only use it a couple times a year and so far so good. And there's no unknown stains factor. :???:

Kaytee, I just tried my mattress out and it fit on the seats and it is a tight fit on the floor. I like it:D

Make sure to get a pump or have a matching adaptor if you already have a pump.

Mom (78) was just as comfy as could be on our trip to western NY. All we did was put the lounge chair coushin on the seats. But then again we did have the back seats in. I just used the seats on the way out. I must say it was more comfy on the way back alone. Except when the aliens tried to gets me ... somewhere in Ohio I think. Remind me to tell you the story.

PS) got into a bumper bender ... post picts later.

yeah i sleep in mine all the time...in vermont during the winter and on the beach in the summer...its pretty comfy with no air mattress or anything...the tricky thing is during the winter...the sleeping bags make you slide down the seats sometimes so you have to find the right spot

I've slept in mine a few times. The best arrangement my wife and I've come up with so far is to fold all the seats down flat together, then put the air mattress on top. Love it!

...fold all the seats down flat together, then put the air mattress on top. Love it!

My wife and I and three Corgis did the same during our cross country trip last September. No major complaints. It helped that the nights were pretty cool and sometimes cold in the Tetons.

A double mattress will not fit flat in the back with the seats out. Mine bowed up on the sides. That may or may not bother you ... just pump yours up inside there and see what you think.

The advantage of being on top of the seats is that there's more width above the side cargo thingies and wheel wells. That stated, I sleep by myself on a twin on the floor (without seats) cuz I kicked Kara onto a cot in the tent. :)

3rdHonda, I hope to see you at the bbq!

I'm thinking your right and will put the seats in if I can ever find them again. I think they are hiding under some Pt cruiser stuff.
I did get 2 sleeping bags today that are awesome.:D
