If the Mini's can do it, why not us "E" owners? There is enough out here on the road and on the board to get something like this going. I know we have the National Meet every year, but with all the local gatherings/mini meets:roll: (no pun), we should be able to get this going.

I see more E's on the road now in the Beach area, I put cards on them or stop them (ask my wife), sometimes it scares her and other drivers! We just need a good sponser to give things away and advertise it. I would be willing to get it started if enough interest.:|

If this is something you're serious about contact Tom and me after the Las Vegas National Meet and we can see about organizing the 2008 or 2009 National Meet down in Virgina Beach. It's centrally located on the East Coast so it would quite easily draw from both the north and south as well as from the west. We should be able to have a pretty large event down there. I'm sure there's plenty of things to do, including drinking Guinness! :)

I'm serious about this, we have not made any commitments for 2008 for the National E-vent yet and it can never be too early to start planning.

If we could get 100+ we would be THRILLED! Whatever number we were to get would be a world record, since one doesn't yet exist. :)

Let us know.

Larry;
Great minds think a lot... I didn't want to push anything till after the Vegas show either, it was a pre thought for maybe next year. And yes, I am serious about it, but I think we could push for a bigger number. I am trying to recruit every E owner I see to get involved in this club.

The "Beach" offers so much to do and see, I came here over 30 years ago, and never went back north, I don't knock it, just love it here. Some family is still in NY and Fla. Always a place to visit.:-D

If it wasn't for the job, I would be at Vegas with all of you:mad: .

I will get with you after things calm down from your trip. Stay safe and drive responsibily:roll:

GUINNESS! Two N's... Not trying to throw stones, but Guinness is my favorite beer! Most don't know that they are the proud publishers of Guinness Book of World Records. It was developed to settle bar arguments about records and such! Jeeze, I am a dork.

We can probably establish an official record in Las Vegas, as you stated, just because none has been defined as of today. I am sure there is cost and effort involved in authentication and registration of any record...

That is a good thought, because if you start one with Guinness at Vegas, that will give us more to shoot for on the next one!:)

I haven't looked into this yet to see if fees are involved, but I will get on that also. It was an early thought for next year. I will look for sponsors also, like the mini's did.

And I know about 7 or 8 other E's that will come from the Misfit Gang.

Dom, this means the two of you (2 E family) each need to drive your own E's.

And by then Bad Robot will / might have an E so we'll prob get about 15 E's from just the Misfits.....

I think the key to this would be in getting the word out, not just here on the EOC but other places too. Local papers, Honda Dealers, Auto Shows.. and so on.

What we need would be to have a poster made up so we could spread the word all over the country. Of course, first we need to come up with a date, and a location... but, hey once we do all that....

I can see this going over big time.

I am very serious, will take all suggestions and thoughts. But will wait for finalizing this when everything is completed at Vegas. When Larry and Tom get the time afterwards, we can set a date, June or August 2008 is a good time of year here at the "Beach". Lot's going on!

I'm in whether it's next year or the year after. I just need advanced notice so I can plan my vacation time. I have to submit it in January each year. I'm sure with 35 vacation, 4 PL's, 12 comp's, numerous comp hours and not to mention 90 sick day's, I'll be able to squeeze this into my schedule barring an act of God! :-P

I agree the word needs to get out as soon as possible. If everyone can post something at their local dealerships, BB and everywhere else that can be used, it would be a big help and a plus to make this a success!

VA is for lovers! I haven't been back since I was stationed in Portsmouth, Norfolk in 1979 and when I went to Va. Beach, VA for training with my department back in 1988.

Just bumping this thread - awesome idea and I'd LOVE to get the Element into a world record. :)

2008 meet means I'll most likely have my Element by then, 2009 means it'll be about a year old. :)

I'm also in the DC metro area - When we have a tenative date, I can have my wife run up some cards that we could pass on to Element owners (wife works at a digital printing company) and perhaps muster up some posters for dealerships.

While I was at Hall Honda today looking at E's, very few on the lot, I saw an 04, GGM, 45,000mi., sticker $17,290, racks, running boards, "LIKE NEW" condition. I was arm twisted to take it home for the day and show off next to Mrs. Spotmans' '03. So tempting, got it down to $16,870 "so far", will wait a couple of hours to go back and bargain.

I am scheduled to talk to the Big Guy Mgr. also about them being a Dealer Sponsor, if we get the next years meet here. The other "wolves" I spoke to are setting up the meeting, they were very excited. :-|

Would really like to have two E's in the family:D

Yahoo! has just released a list of the top beaches searched on the web and Virginia Beach tops the list at #2.
Over the past week, east coasters scanned the Yahoo! Search horizon for "new jersey beaches", while others looked for ways to float into "Florida beach vacations".

:) OK, time to bump this back up, now that Vegas is over and it looked like everyone had a great time. !! I spoke with the General Manager of Hall Honda here in Va. Beach, he, along with everyone else there were very excited about doing a BIG meet at the dealership at least one day of the event.

I mentioned that I have to get with the Big Guys (Site Admin) and so forth about the details. He wants to help sponsor and do whatever:confused: I know we could get well over 100 E's if there is enough notice. I will wait for "the word" about the particulars needed, so I can put a poster, pamphlets and cards together.

Just need some dates and times, there is so much to do here in Va. Beach and the surrounding area  OK folks, post those ideas on here. I will be looking for other sponsors (Hotel, food and beverage, goodies/give aways, etc.) (Maybe even have them donate an "E")

Sounds good to me. I haven't been to Va.Beach since 1988/89 when I was there training with the PD, plus it's my old stomping grounds, Portsmouth, Norfolk etc.....

Anyway, I think the sooner dates are available, the sooner people can plan to get there and drive their Elements there, if this is a plan to set a Guinnes book record. I think as soon as a plan is formulated, info can be given to dealerships for Element owners to come.

I'm down, count me in, for where ever, when ever the next meet comes about. I'll also say that this same plan at the Libertyville location would be out of sight and on point.

Well, we're hot here, too in the summer, but we have HUMIDITY to go along with the heat....wet dishrag damp.....LOL Such a pleasant feeling when camping (or basically being outside)...C'mon though, we don't let a little humidity stop us!:D

Let's put this to rest for right now. We are working on another location for 2008 so for right now VA Beach is not at the forefront for the 2008 National Meet. If the first location doesn't work out then we will be looking hard at VA Beach. If VA Beach isn't the '08 location then it very well could be the '09 location.

No matter what location we chose nothing would be getting done until the end of the year or the beginning of next unless it's something that had to be taken care of early in the process.

I'm not looking for a job with tourism - however, we can definitely state that Virginia as a WHOLE is humid - it's nice at the beach because there's USUALLY a breath of air blowing through.....let's be grateful we're not farther south where the humidity and heat are even more intense....although I do love Savannah GA enough to want property (house, sand, mud flat - I don't care)....there......  :evil:

So, still come to Va Bch to help set a Guinness World record!!! Keep checking this thread. :)

Nothing more.

It doesn't matter about the date, pick one and let us know - you'll never make everyone happy, so just pick one and tell us. Then it's our turn to adjust schedules and make it happen.

I know just about any Element owner will do whatever is necessary to be part of this, I mean after all - who wouldn't want to be part of a world record?

If you want to continue this on your own you are perfectly welcome to do that. Just please avoid any dates in June and July 2008 as that will be approximately when the National Meet will be taking place, exact date and place to be determined. This is when we have now traditionally held the Big E-vent and plan on continuing to do so.

Thanks.

As a matter of fact it is. We already have a location chosen for the 2008 Big E-vent but can't finalize those plans until the end of the year. We've spoken with Spotman about his event but has chosen to do this on his own.

Tom and I can't figure out what this great rush is to get this off the ground. He hasn't said when he's looking to hold his gtg which is why I asked that he not hold it when the National Meet will most likely be taking place. We can't specify a date/weekend yet because we are not able to at this time.

First of all, there is no rush, I am just doing the hard part of the foot work to see if this is feasible to take some of the pressure off of you two! According to Guinness, if you read into their site, it is a long process of correspondence and paperwork, therefore, the sooner you get it going the better.
There have been NO dates set for this, even though they ask for one on the form. Besides, I know about the next National Meet plans, and I would never go ahead and plan something during that time:shock:
I have no intention on doing this on my own, never did:confused: You guys are the site masters and coordinators of all big GTG's. There are many of us out here who enjoy the people on here and all the gtg's we have attended. We wish to contribute as much as possible to help out.

For an event like this, which not just your ordinary meet somewhere, I trust in long term planning. For organizations like this (Guinness) paper trails are long and tedious.

Also folks need to divide vacation days between our fav forum and family and some need to give notice early on.

I understand where Larry and T Mac are coming from as well.
But advertising somehow, every where possible is the key here.

Couldn't Guinness come to where ever the EOC's Big E-Vent is going to be held? Personally, I think and this is just my opinion, since TMac and Sprcr5 are the one's responsible for this site, it's membership and it's mear existance, I think they have done an admirable job in making the plans for the Nationals that have been held thus far. I think suggestions can be made to the body of the EOC and I do believe they listen to what the body has to say but based upon logistics, sponsors and feasability, they do what is probably the best for all concerned. Again, I don't think that Guinness locks in a location for what you're trying to do and if East Liberty provides the best participation for a record to be obtained, maximum exposure and the support and participation of Honda North America, let it be so.

Peace!

Hey everyone let's don't loose sight of things. If this meet/event can be worked into a national meet then fine, if not well, that's ok too.

Seriously, this is a good idea, and it should not interfere with the one major event that the EOC as a whole does on an annual basis.

Maybe I'm reading the jest of the last few posts, but in case I'm not let's don't turn this into some kind of pissing match. Personally I want to go to this event (and I offer any assistance possible) but at the same time I also want to attend the next National meet. Las Vegas was just impractical for us to attend, hopefully the '08 meet won't be.

I will go if it is around NY.

I think you will get a few hundred E's in NY alone. combine it with MA and NJ and PA find a cool place to drive to... lake George, Catskills, RI somewhere that people would like to go with and without kids. some large camp ground in the area, designate family w kids area and all else area. Start the parade half way and for a good cause, not some record... something like 'E-run for free youth summer camp programs' end it at the campground with some fireworks and beer. I think paraid like that will pickup some local campgrounds and outdoors retailers as sponsors as well as some youth organizations (publicity). I would send a letter to honda with e-signatures from forum to show interest in such event (send them our VINs as signatures so they know it is no BS).
This should be done somewhere within 4-5 hours away from large city (NYC). Do it at the end of summer, perhaps coincide with the long weekend, and you have a winner. also get local Honda dealers involved and have them do a mailing. name some prices by aftermarket for whatever, I am sure advertisement like this will find some sponsors. I know one contest: most girls in an E - sexiest E - best attitude E.... always makes for a great advertisement picture especially if there is a mod mag of some kind around.
...................
should have read this forum before the summer :-), but you can get ready for next... perhaps spring break trip... we can crash in our Es if it is too cold for tents. I can volunteer some of my time for calls/photos/some research etc...

Hey E.Glory The miles should not pose a problem as we had folks from MI for a 3 day camping trip in May on the East Coast. That's pretty far.

Larry Ever noticie how the closer to the east the EOC Events are , ya get more E's?????? ( I kid here, don't yell )

I agree with:
no piss match
long term planning
yes to get out of the city
yes to a name for a parade
letter to Honda - yes
yes to some very crafty advertising
Be it at the EOC meet or not, well what ever.

I do think the established area should allow kids. After all E's are haulers, be they hauling kids, dogs, lumber, tools, music equipment.....etc.

I personally don't have kids at home anymore, but I remember bringing them places.

As always, our patience with the owners and mods of this forum should be great but their patience with us is greater. I thank them.

Here is what I received today, look over carefully, and lets get something started for early next year!!

Dear Mr R....,

Thank you for your enquiry regarding your intention to attempt the record for ‘Most Honda Elements Driven in a row'. Your proposal is very similar to an existing record that we monitor and so we suggest you attempt this instead: ’Largest parade of Honda cars’.

The current record (current as at the date of this letter) is: A parade of 101 Honda/Acura Integra Type-R cars took place at BeaveRun MotorSports ComPlex, Wampum, Pennsylvania, USA on 12 April 2003 as part of the 2003 Integra Type R Exposition.

You may wish to check with us again closer to submitting your full claim to be sure that a new record has not been set in the interim.

Please note that any current record information is provided to you to the best of Guinness World Records knowledge and belief as at the date of this letter and is based on the record information currently logged on the Guinness World Records database. This current record may change at any time due to a new record being approved. You are responsible for keeping yourself up to date with any new records as Guinness World Records will not inform you of any change to the current record.

We have attached specific Guidelines for this record category which detail the requirements you must follow to make your record attempt. You should ensure that all those participating and those witnessing the attempt are aware of the contents of these Guidelines. We would also draw your attention to the specific authentication we require when you come to make your claim for this particular category. This is in addition to the general authentication requirements as detailed in the Record Breakers’ Pack you already have.

These Guidelines will be appropriate for achieving a Guinness World Record as at the date of this letter. However, please be aware that as and when required, the Guidelines may be updated by us from time to time and without further notice to you.

It be nice to set this up with the National Meet. I mean everyone or should I say a lot of people will be trying to make that event. I don't know for sure but if its held back at the Honda plant in Ohio, it will be centrally located for the most part. You know you'll have a good number of people who are going to be there regardless and being at the plant I would imagine a lot of other EOC members will come because they would like to tour the plant. Push come to sholve if we see we're falling short, we might be able to have the plant roll some off the assembly line to add to our numbers. Its a joke!

Anyway, I'd hate to see the membership divided on the National and the Guinness Record. There is strength in number. Together we stand and divided we fall.

Peace!

I was just waiting for someone to come up with the idea. Thank you chozn!!!! For several reasons we don't drive much so to get down to Virginia or somewhere else would be a long drive. Go to the Honda plant.... We are in and by then I will tag some more Ohioans who might join the club!

Aside from the National Corvette Club meeting down in Bowling Green, KY, I bet no other car clubs have met at the birth place of the car aside from the EOC. I know the first meet was there and I missed it and there is talk that next year's E-Vent will possibly be held there again. With so much going on with the Element and possble changes for the '09 model year, it would be beneficial to have it there as well as the Guinness Record. Its just what I'm thinking. There are quite a few thinks to do in the area as well and possibly we can have a round up and communte to some POI during the E-Vent where we can all go and hang out. Again, just a thought. I do know from a personal stand, I want to be and will be at the National, no matter where it is for next year, Lords will!

Peace!

For what it's worth - I'm going to be part of this record breaking event - period. Doesn't matter when or where - I'm going to be there.

In the same vein, I'm going to be at the national meet. I wanted to go to the last one, but honestly Nevada was just too far, if the Guinness Event is on the west coast, I probably couldn't make it either. Sadly, like pulling off a Mini-Meet there is no one 'best location'.

Let's please don't get started back in the National Meet VS Guinness Record debate/fight/argument. I know Bob, and he is not the type of person that will do anything underhanded or mean spirited.

All I'm trying to say is most all of us are going to attend this event, and the National Meet, and most all of the Mini-Meets too. Let's don't go causing conflicts where there are none.

If this coincides with a/the national meet fine, if not well that's ok too. Regardless, I honestly do not see this event becoming competition with the national meet.

It has to be like a very wise man once told me...

"Build it and they will come".

Like it was said earlier, there should be no separation between the national and the record. Wasn't setup that way. Some people can make one, others can make both. As benny said before, lets not turn this into something that its not.8-)

This is not a competition between events....this is a competition to beat an old record and set a new one, period. Once the date and location is established all E owners from all the regions should make the greatest effort possible to be a part of it. We're 20,000 members strong...beat a record of 101, No, WE SHOULD CRUSH IT!!!!

:idea:I've got an idea. Why not talk with Honda promotional department and work with them on doing a little more than a line up of cars. How about something like moving the cars in a format that looks like synchronized swimming, or like driving the Elements in a line like a long squigly worm, or like forming a star with all Elements facing a point and splaying out. Think of how sailboats tie up together in one big circle. Offer this to Honda and maybe they'd film it for an ad. Go one step further and have the performance all color coordinated! That'd be so cool.

That's my two cents. I'd love to be there and be a part of it all. Whatever you all do, enjoy!

All considered, I have agreed to wait for the Mods to set the date for the National Meet for 2008, then I will pick something that is separate from that.

I know not everyone can go to both, just some. But I have been putting together a Family Reunion for July 4th week here in Va. Beach. That has been keeping me busy. I will get on the stick as soon as I find out when the national is and try to set a date for Guinness.

In the mean time, anyone who knows of anyone who wants to help sponsor this event (in the Va. Beach area), please let me know. I could use all the help you can give. Some examples: other dealerships(Hall Honda is already working with me), T-Shirt makers, Restaurants, Stores(food, camping, camp grounds, gift, home centers, etc.) would be greatly appreciated.

I hope to make the National for 2008. Not exactly sure when they plan to have it but I'm thinking it will be in July. I'll either attend a family reunion in Louisville, KY before the meet or after the meet. If the Guinness deal pans out to where I can make that as well, I hope to participate. Hopefully I'll have a week to chill before heading east. I haven't been to Va Beach in a long time. In fact, the last time I was there I was there training with the PD back in 1987/88. I recall the Postmasters were having their convention there at the time. Can't remember the hotel we stayed in but right across the street was an older hotel that was owned by hotel we were staying at on the beach side of the street. That hotel was old and nostalgic. They allowed us to tour it and it looked like something out of the 30's, I'm talking the Great Gatsby days. At the other end of the street was a cul de sac. Hard to remember but I enjoyed my two weeks there and look forward to coming back if I can.

I strongly suggest you do a pre-registration on another thread so those who are coming can basically commit to coming and you'll have an online running count on what you should have at the event barring an act of God.

As always, Peace!

T MAC just posted the other day that he was working on some dates and location for the National meet and that he was working on making it a hit with everyone. He further stated he hope to announce something soon, maybe end of Dec or early Jan but you can get his exact quote in the Forum Announcement section. I don't want to put words in his mouth.

I don't know if what he plans will fall in line with the Guinness thing or not and I don't know if the Guinness thing has to be where it was previously suggested. It would be nice if both were one in the same as a lot of people tend to try and make the National meet and doing both my be a problem logistically. I know I plan to make the National myself which falls right around a family reunion which will be held in Louisville, KY sometime in July. I'm hoping I can leave one and go to the other.

Didn't read the entire pages of posts but I think that wherever the National meet is this year would be a great spot to do this. I think to get the most people it needs to be central. That way you minimize travel times for people out west and down south. Virginia Beach is awesome but a hell of a drive from Texas or Cali. Doing this at the National meet also means more people will be able to get the vacation time needed. Just think about it. I know the Northeast is already planning a HUGE caravan to the National meet.

I totally agree with you Carly! The only way i think this would work would be through the NATIONAL MEET, that is the Big event of the year. Many people wouldn't be able to go to both and I would go to the National Meet before a record setting meet. If you have gone to a National meet you will know what i am talking about and if you haven't gone you need to make one. Going to Honda was such a great experience and I hope it will be back there again. If we do go back there, I am sure we will have some huge numbers especially if Honda comes through even more next time.

we will get more cars people and everything else if we do this at the national meet. I cant aford the money for traveling and vacation time to do all this. If this was in my backyard I would be all for this too. How about being a little more flexable with this event. I am sure that the powers that be aka T Mac and the others would like to go to this also.
Take a deep breth and chill. I want to go to a national event and truth be told, I will go to an event that is organized by the site adminstration first over somthing that sounds like is going to be a "day meet" for the organizer.

I would love to go to this and I am sure that I could even get my mom to go being that she too has an e. You stated that you were going to plan this event for a diffrent day. For what it's worth, I think we have already passed the 'window' so to speak. If we assume the date would be late July of '08, then the promotion/advertisement of an event of this magnitude can not run long enough to provide the needed/expected output.

In order to truly promote an event like this, one needs at least a year of prep/promotion time. Call me a pessimist, but I honestly think once the date/location/and support (t-shirts, sponsors, etc) is set, you still need MONTHS of promotion, especially if it's more "word of mouth". That is assuming, your after more than 40 or 50 cars...

just sayin'

I think it can be achieved. The National meet we had in Ohio I think had over 90 cars at the factory!! We wouldn't need much more than that.

Let's all stick together on this. I'm not trying to start a war. I was just saying doing this at our National event will assure more people can be involved. I for one want to be involved in this record. I also know because of cost and trying to coordinate vacation time that I won't be able to make two trips. I'm worried about having something on the East coast because that is an awful long drive for people out west. Plus Tom and Larry put so much work into the National meet every year and I think it would be a shame to shadow thier hard work.

2. National Meet vs. Guiness Record - why is this even an issue? Both Tom and Bob have and are communicating about his event. It's not a fight, anyone that thinks it is needs to get over themselves.

3. I'm gonna be there - both the National and the Guiness Meet - assuming the two are reasonably close enough to work into MY schedule.

Benny;

That is exactly the point I am trying to get across, this is not going to interfere or supersede anything else. I am waiting on a date for the Nationals and if there isn't enough time to get it together, it will be at a later date in time. Working with Guinness and sponsors and everyone else is no easy task, I know how the Mods feel putting things together!

I will keep you and the other volunteers (compiling a list) informed of any help that is needed. Just think if all the negative vibes were put to good use on this project, it would go off without a hitch. But there are always those that have to throw a wrench into the machinery.

I don't know about you but I get such a "good" feeling when I chat with some guy in NC or some gal in Fla. and find although we may have different lifestyles we can still be friendly and respectful towards each other. I will tread lightly with this . . . Just wanted to know, without reading the previous 167 posts, what the events are all about, in particular the guiness record. When I go to the "Guiness event" link it takes me here, to the very last posting.

I don't think anyone would be upset if I didn't make it, although it's nice to think I could go. I'd like to join everyone in spirit anyhow.

I don't understand what the issues are about in these postings with who says this and who says that, and don't care to know. Whoever is setting this up gets to call the shots. It's as simple as that.

Whatever, whenever and where-ever it is I hope it's great turn out and a lot of fun.

Rube, you said what I didn't, couldn't have been any better!

Oh Geez Spot: Sure wish you hadn't thrown the Rube's name in on this one. For whatever its worth and (again) those that know me know that I respect each and everyone of you and I have the deepest affection for those I've met and those I haven't, but getting a "get-together" as large as this is no easy task and I salute all those who are using positive efforts to get it done. I, for one, would love to be a part of a National Meet and a record setting meet - but - that all hinges on when and where. Obviously the when and where seem to be up in the air at the moment. So I will sit and wait and see what is posted in the near future. If I can make one I will - If I can make two I will - and of course if I can't make any I will be extremely sad. I've set up a few local meets and thought it was a pain at times - that feeling went away once we all got there and started chatting with each other and "ENJOYING" each other's company. The vastness of these meets is much greater than I would want to tackle - but that in no way means I'll just sit back and do nothing. If (in whatever little part) I may be of help in getting this off the ground please let me know. Right now I can't think of anything I could possibly do except give you my moral support, but if you see the need to ask The Rube for help - then please do so. In reading what everyone has said I can see that we are not all seeing eye to eye and I'm okay with that just as long as we "respect" each other.
Many, many years ago an old timer at my job said to me, " I may not agree with what you say - but - I'll defend your right to say it". I've never forgotten that. Sorry if I got carried away but after coming off our little meet in Belmar this past Saturday I was feeling so good, then I started to get a little bummed out reading about the National/Record setting meets.
Sorry for rambling - just The Rube's 2 cents.:)

Man people are just taking this totally the wrong way. I'm out of it now. All I was trying to say is it's ridiculous to try to organize 2 huge events. Don't you think it would be better to try to combine? I'll stay in my Northeast forum from now on.

Sorry if you took it wrong, I certainly didn't mean to infer the post as an attack, or whatever. The whole National/Geinness thing has been debated ad-nausium for a good while and keeps popping up every now and then. Look, I'm not either the one setting the thing up, or one of the 'powers that be', I'm just a lowly E-ple. I have no idea what Tom, Larry, Bob and whoever have in the recesses of their minds - and I'm not real sure I want to know...

Bottom line, the record thing is Bob's vision, and he should be the one that makes the tough call about when/where, and the same goes for Tom in regards to the national meet. As I've said before - if it works out to hold the record along with a national then that's great - if not, well ok. One is not going to take away from the other. It's not some silly high school competition going on here.

I plan to attend both if at all possible, but right now neither have even been formally announced, the only thing I remember was Larry asking Bob not to hold this event in June/July '08 because that is when the national meet would be held. If anyone has decided anything other than that I don't remember seeing it posted anywhere.

Let's just hang out and see what comes of the meets. Again, sorry if you thought I was stomping on your toes, I certainly didn't mean to, and you or anyone else are always welcome to any Mid-Atlantic/Mid-South event as far as I'm concerned. After all, we're all E-ple. :)

You know, I've been drinking Guinness for some time now. Nothing record-breaking I grant you. Frankly I don't see why there's so much fuss over a few beers.
