This car is so cool! And, after having the car for about three weeks, I have averaged 21.5 MPG. HOWEVER, I recorded one trip at 24.42 MPG! That's cool since the specs say up to that number, but you'd never expect that given driving though mountain passes and with a car full of people that it could happen.8-)
Anyone else a new owner with this mileage results? Is the AT better than the MT at MPG??

My new E has been consistently giving me 24.75mpg. Granted this wasn't through mountains and typically only 1 or 2 people.

You're going to find a lot of variables in the E's mileage. Some can't get out of the high teens, others claim low 30's.
I've had mine a while, and I'm averaging 24.7 overall.
I honestly believe the mileage has more to do with the driver than the vehicle.

My best so far is 23.7 MPG on a 120 mile trip with about 85% highway driving. Still in breakin period though (less than 450 miles on the odometer). I'm satisfied with that and hopefully +1-2 MPG as it breaks in.

Here's my "you cant jugde mpg on one tank" cautionary tale:
On our most recent road trip (see pics here (http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35258)), the little low gas warning light went on and we went 20 or so miles before we got to a Chevron. I fill up, and the gas pump doesnt click off, so it reaches 14.2 gallons pumped before I click it off. I look and there is gas all the way up the fill tube, almost to the cap :-o We drive off and go close to 400 miles before next fill up (where we put in just over 11 gallons)-- mpg for that tank: 32 mpg! the other tanks we were right around 25 mpg or so for that trip for a 4WD AT fully loaded with gear
