..And new EOC member.

Got our E a week ago today and lovin' it. The Galaxy Grey Metallic paint is gorgeous and works well with the tinted rear glass and black trim. We're planning a few road trips already, and the E should be a lot more comfortable than our last cross country road trip Honda (http://www.flickr.com/photos/briang/sets/1383246/), but it won't get quite as good gas mileage ;). I already used the E on an organized metric century bike ride last weekend, and it truly is one of the most bike-friendly vehicles around. The parking lot looked like an Element Owner's rally as I counted at least 3 other E's.

Looks great! That is the color I would get if I had to get another element. Too bad they didn't have it for the '06. The TRP is a close second.

From one mac-head to another: I like your sticker! :)

Looks great. I just saw a grey for the first time in person and I've added it to my list of possible colors. (this was posted from my G5 at work :) )

I love that colour. We went with black but probably would have gotten that but it is almost the same colour as our Mazda 3 and I didn't want two cars the same colour.

Thanks for the comments and warm welcome.

Galaxy Gray Metallic is somewhat chameleon-like as it seems to change color. Sometimes it looks plain old gray, sometimes brownish, and other times it has an olive tinge. They all look great.

How did you carry the road bike? Will it fit without problem when you stow the passenger seat?

I folded up the left rear seat, put the bike in facing front with the saddle leaning against the folded seat, and bungeed the top tube between the cargo hook near the floor and the D-Ring on the strap used to stow the seat. The front wheel was resting between the front seats. Fit perfect and didn't budge.
