: Civic HFP 18's on an SC?
Any fitment issues if used in conjunction with stock SC tires?
I've seen civics with element wheels, so when I saw the charcoal 18's that Honda has for the Civic, I got to wondering.
Just found out they're 18x7 with a 45 offset.
gibroni 06-18-2007, 09:08 PM I think they'd look awesome. I was thinking about getting those for my Element but they cost too much for me.
M1 1I 1K 1E 06-19-2007, 07:06 AM I've seen an Si with SC wheels and it looked great, I don't see the problem in going the other way around?
clay7160 06-19-2007, 07:10 AM i was thinking the same thing...i have been looking at the civic hfp wheels for about a week...but i confirmed with 3 dealers that wheels are more bronze in color, not grey like some pictures show, I find the bronze doesnt go well with my grey panels on me 03 ex

I believe the bronze will go well with Root Beer, and the SC wheels on the silver/blue we have will look good as well.
7" width seems about a half an inch to an inch too narrow though. Offset is ideal.

Edited to deleted my wrong info provided.
Since SC wheels are 18x8 they Civic rim would be an inch too narrow.
That's what I didn't want to hear, but alas, the truth hurts sometimes.
Edit: After brief searching, this is the SC wheel: 42700-SCV-A91 - Wheel (Disk-18x7JJ)
So, it would work perfectly.
It sucks having to be there bearer of bad news at times.....but at the same time i can save people some agravation down the road if they have the info they need ahead of time.
Read the post I made right above yours, I found the SC wheel is 18x7, therefore the Civic HFP wheel should be perfect.
If you could perhaps verify the part # I listed that it's the SC wheel, then we're in business.

I went back and checked my listing and it was wrong.....the Sc is 7''.
The number listed is in fact the SC rim.Sorry about that.

It's better to know than not know. All is good.

aerodynamicallychallenged 08-08-2007, 07:01 AM Can anybody post what they may look like (Civic HFP 18's)? I'm curious now.

SILFACE 09-19-2007, 02:17 PM Hi!
Was doing some research on various mags that I can install on my SC for the winter. Came across the 17" Honda Civic factory performance alloy wheels HFP in stoney gray maybe bronze color... Think they would look awesome on my Galaxy gray SC. Checked with various Honda Parts managers and they say " they are both five lug, and the bolt pattern is the same so it should work, even though Honda wouldn't recommend it, but it will work". Offset: 45. They think that honda doesn't recommend them because of weight difference between civic & E!
What do U think about them... Think they would be appropriate for the SC in the winter... Is installing the TPMS sensor on them a big problem or should I stay away from them...
Dealer I called will soon try them on an E & will let me know in October... There is a weight comparison done on diyhonda.com
Thanks in advance!

z(+)diac 09-19-2007, 09:29 PM It's funny you posted this, as I just saw a new '07 with these very same wheels this past weekend and thought they looked spectacular.
