Hey EOC!

I installed a CB a couple of weeks back for our upcoming cross country adventure from LA to NY. Anyway, I gave up on trying to fix the fuel pump noise. It got better when I tossed the ripoff shack antenna and install a Wilson. Now the new noise source is the AC. Anyone experience this and were you able to correct it?

Most likely it's the fan motor. Is the noise reduced at max fan speed? Maybe a 12V power filter on the radio will help.

Tie the ground wire directly to the chassis ground. That or put a filter on the dc line running up to the CB. That's all I can think of.
