After logging 4200 miles, I just wanted to say it was a great road trip and Mrs. Citizen and I had fun in Vegas meeting the EOC'ers and hanging out with our pals from Phoenix. It was great to meet everyone and put faces to names. Sorry if I didn't get to meet all the E-Vent attendees. I'll definitely catch you at next year's E-Vent.

Also, I learned that my E does best at speeds between 75-85 mph. Any slower (60-70ish) and it has problems maintaining speed on hills without some major down shifting (sometimes going up to 6000 rpms!). Even then, it had issues getting up a somewhat long hill without losing 10+ mph if my speed starting up the hill is less than about 72mph.

At speeds between 75-85 mph, the E seemed to mostly maintain speed going up hills with just a little extra umph on the gas pedal, hitting around 3700 rpm.

Any faster than 85 and the wind really starts to have an adverse affect and my mileage starts going down (not that it was good anyway).

That's just my experience. Anyone else notice anything similar?
