: Hello. New owner.
64cat 06-29-2007, 12:01 PM :) got my 2007 Alabaster Silver SC. It was between this and a S2000. But I already had another "play" car a didn't need two. I'm glad I bought the SC. It's a really nice car and good looking. No matter what people here and outside this board say : )
I'll be back with questions soon.
Karl
TonyS 06-29-2007, 12:39 PM Welcome! ALL Es are beautiful!!
I get static for not having the plastic pannels. :)
DorchesterBoy 06-29-2007, 01:49 PM Welcome. That is one nice looking Element.
My GF is about ready to buy a Honda FIT, and a couple of days ago she asked me how much more an Element would cost because she is adding it to her "might buy" list.
Enjoy your SC.

Welcome to the EOC. Nice E...so shiny.
TonyS.: you got 1/2 an EOC membership for having painted panels, whatcha complaining about :-P
TonyS 06-29-2007, 02:17 PM Don't forget the EOC decal to recruit!
I got the chrome - over the Real Time decal like I've seen around.
The tiny dot in the "dot com" would not cooperate & I required two shots vodka, heavy duty reading glasses and the best tweezers money could buy to get it on the car !
And I have experience with number decals on buoys, moving and bobing in heat and cold!
:)

I'm sure it was the vodka that gave you the steady hands and clearer vision.
Blacksheep 06-29-2007, 05:28 PM Welcome 64cat! Nice looking SC and with manual tranny... extra nice.
Now this is how you join the site; start with a couple of photos of your E and you now have a database of friends, advice, and support. There seems to be a rash of fake newbies, but you are showing people how to gain the confidence of the site.
Welcome again 64cat.
eleMentalCase 06-29-2007, 07:47 PM Welcome cat...
And for what it's worth- you have EXCELLENT taste in cars!
From one 2007 Alabaster silver SC owner to another!
Small and sporty 06-29-2007, 10:42 PM Welcome Karl. I like your car. Have you done any mods yet?:)

Thanks for the comments. And no mods yet ; )
I want to add some inflatable lumber support under the seat. A friend of mine added then to his S2000 and they felt great.
What's a good air intake. I had neuspeed p-flow on my jetta.
And I want to replace the shift knob with something else. Aluminium is what i was thinking (to go with the outside)
Haven't had the SC and I'm already planning to spend money.

JumperJ 07-01-2007, 07:20 AM 64Cat-
Your SC looks great! My husband and I are still deciding between the SC and the EX. Drove both yesterday. Hopefully will have one by the end of the month!
EthanFox 07-01-2007, 03:26 PM Whether you get the SC or EX, make sure you get the ASM - they run better.
jtallen 07-01-2007, 03:29 PM Whether you get the SC or EX, make sure you get the ASM - they run better.
but the ABM EX is faster
new guy 07-01-2007, 04:08 PM I am a new guy as well to the sc world. I am also looking for what are the best things to do to the element. My friend was telling me that I need to honk and wave to all the elements I see on the road (like the xb's do) we go at riding a lot and now that we have a toy hauler motorhome. I have sold my lifted f-250 diesel and went to the element. I have to say it rides better and the mileage is better as well. I hope to get some good ideals for my element.
EthanFox 07-03-2007, 09:44 AM Mod it!
Um - some easy ones:
Do a search for side marker turn signal
or
If you go camping (or just like to "park") do a search for curtain alternatives and build a bed frame for an inflatable full size mattress you can put in the back
or
put a rain gutter guard on the front to protect you baby
or
Just slap some stickers on to customize it
or
just do searches around on the EOC - these people trick out their E like no other - thousands of ideas at your fingertips. Pick and choose - or make your own. If you make your own, please share your ideas!
