People have stopped me (gas station, car wash, Whole Foods, B & B) to ask me about the Element. Mostly they were thinking about getting a new car, thinking about buying an Element, hated their CR-V, and many were curious to see the inside. One person told me they always wanted to ride in an E. My boyfriend ( the owner) has always called it a car but has started calling it a truck too... the guys in my car club just point and laugh and either call it a toaster or a lego so I guess it's up to you...
