I just picked up an '05 EX Magnesium Metallic with 21k miles on it. After a couple weeks, I figured out that I should have gotten an automatic so the wife could drive it.

Any E owners in Hawaii want to trade their automatic for my 5spd?

Sorry, not me. I'm perfectly happy with my E and besides, I'm in the Makule class and I can't handle a stick in rush hour traffic any more.

Yeah, had to trade-in my beloved '03 SOP a year ago to get the wife a mini-van. Just picked up the '05 MM about a month ago.

Am happy to be back in an E, and love driving a 5spd again, but just wish the wife could use it too.

I guess I'll just have to teach her to drive it, though I'll probably have a heart attack the first time she solos...

Take her to a graveyard to practice. I take mine over to Hawaiian Memorial in Kaneohe because there are lots of hills. Plus, not so much traffic and people walking around.

Better to have her learn to drive so that one day you can experience the other side of your E!
