: Watch out for the death cat

Anybody else seen this story. PVD is real close by and I have been hearing about this for a couple of days now. It is kind of creepy and yet interesting at the same time. If my cat starts hanging around my bed more often than normal I might be leary.
jurneez 07-26-2007, 12:55 PM I wonder if there isn't a chemical or oxygen change that the cat sensors. Like those dogs that can sense a chemical change regarding cancer.
I like to think there is a soul connection physic thing but the science part of me thinks there is a chnage in the odors.
just wondering...

Rocket Dog 07-26-2007, 01:00 PM My dog is kind of like that too. Every time I feel hunger, and drop down into the kitchen...well, its like she KNOWS. She is always right there with me.
So weird.
lizzurd 07-26-2007, 01:02 PM I think it's just something about cats and how they get a sence for impending death.....when my cat maggie died of cancer last year my other 2 cats had hovered around her all night and wouldn't leave her side before she died.

Yeah, I agree with jurn. It's probably a change in the odours - if you know what I mean!
:)
bh241 07-26-2007, 01:03 PM I agree, it is interesting. I believe it is possible, and hope when my time comes, that one of them (or even a death dog) is with me in the last few hours.
Hopefully the families find comfort in that little kitty.
Rocket Dog 07-26-2007, 01:04 PM Odours? I'll have to look that one up my Canadian neighbour. :-D

Hey, we've talked about this before. Is it REALLY advisable to take advice on culinary matters from a dog, especially one with flames coming out of his bum?

This from a dog who is about to soil a fire hydrant.

Farther 07-26-2007, 02:11 PM Has anyone considered that the cat maybe sucking the life out of these people?
Rocket Dog 07-26-2007, 02:15 PM That's my theory. I just need proof.
Has anyone considered that the cat maybe sucking the life out of these people?
We cats would never do such a thing.
*curls up to random EOC members purring*
