Ok, new issue

I installed a 4-8 Ohm DVD receiver and bought Infinity 6022i speakers.

Problem is that the speakers are 2 Ohm and are silent.

I tried wiring them in series on the rear channel (in hopes I could use the front channel for tweets)

HU Rear Left(+) to Rear left speaker(+)
Rear left speaker (-) to Front left speaker(+)
Front left speaker (-) to HU Rear Left (-)

Well, it doesn't work...

1. How can I fix this without an amp (and ton of wiring/rca's)?

2. I do have a RF2002 2-channel. Can I connect both the front+rear (left/right respective) together on the amp?

Thanks!

Derrick

P.S. I found a sweet spot under the console to run the 4 AWG from the battery (most of you know this already). Just follow the shifter down and zip-tie your heart out. No Drilling required!

It would help if you'd fill out your user information (05 awd ex) etc.

Done

and fixed. I wired them back the way they should be, and put a 25watt, 2ohm resistor in series with each speaker (I have them at work). They are ear piercingly loud...and clear.
