what was the common factor at that meet, seriously, was it box shaped vehicles? I hold no grudges against those guys, we should admit we do have a commonality in our personalities to buy boxes.

It was the first ever SoCal Style Wagonist meet. Wagonist is the Japanese term for anything that is a wagon, van, minivan, box. There is a japanese publication by the name "Wagonist" also, they may have coined the term. It looks all boxes from the first pic but there were Odysseys, Previas and MPVs too. I was the only E though! :D

Funny thing is that there is probably at least a few posts identical to this one on a Scion forum somewhere (obviously reversed to praise the xB over the E) O well, to each his own. If all those Scion customers had bought E's think of how hard it would have been for each of you to get the E in the color you wanted. Here's to individuality. Cheers!

Ethos, I agree with you entirely....... maybe I dont see the hate because I dont consider the 2 vehicles in the same class........the E is more of a rugged station wagon while the xb is a econobox commuter.......

These are not exactly the words my husband used for the xB just yesterday but we are very close.

Besides, the more people that buy other vehicles make the E that much more individual, which I think may be part of the draw for each member here

Except for that big "jaw" and smaller size of the xB, I really don't see much difference between it and an painted-panel E.

(Another reason I personally prefer the unpainted panels.:-P)

I'm all for individuality, don't get me wrong. However if all of the xB owners were to buy E's instead, think of how much better the sales would be! We'd be getting new features for our E's and great redesigns all the time, rather than constantly worrying that they're not selling enough to keep the model going...

I think the Xb wanted to look cooler by parking next to the E:cool: Man I hate those Scion's:x
