I agree with Zarathustra: Forget the "Hummer" thing. Why give attention and notoriety to that product, when what we have is NOT a Hummer, only slightly resembles one, and is in a whole different class of vehicle. (not to mention price class...)
Cant we all just be happy with having a HONDA ELEMENT, and let it go at that?

The funny thing is that you'll hear alot of "E" owner people who are self proclaimed "progressive, forward thinkers" and "thinking out of the box" and "add lame 90's cooperate nomenclature here" types, but in reality wish they were driving a hummer or a Benzy Box.

My view is kinda simple, I liked the E, I bought it, I like to own it.

I don't drive around with it thinking, look how smart and out of the box I am. If I was out of the box I would be riding my bike around town to conserve fuel.

Frankly I don't get the whole baby hummer, H3 deal. Not only is the Hummer niche a joke it's embarrassing how out of step it is with what's happening in the world. My 2 cents

glad to see this thread going. i never even thought about a connection until it was pointed out by a co-worker. honestly, i still don't see it.
