Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this forum, but I just bought a 2005 Element EX AWD. I am very excited on adding accessories to it, but was not sure what I should do first to make it stand out more. Anyone got any first idea's on what I should do first. I love the sound system that was already added when I bought it along with the XM radio and boom box.

Hi and welcome to the club.

You'll find a lot of accessories and mods that you can add/change to the E to make it a more 'unique' vehicle than it already is. Just take some time and putter about the forums.

Come to a local meet, that way you will see first hand some of the mods people have done.

hey, how is it goin! glad to see another RR just like mine. For some reason, I do not see that many of RR driving around at all, do you know why? I don't? Anyways...your looks cool on how you kept it away from the chrome type look. that's how I want mine to. However, my first mod will probably be side steps. I"m thinking also to upgrade to 18's but I want to keep away from that chromy looking style. I do like black rims with that metallic looking deep dish style, where the tires and rims are flushed with the fenders...where did you find buy your rims and tires anyways?

well, i saw SG motoring sellin on ebay for the whole set at 550 but the +200 shipping wasnt my cup of tea. but i found out that their location is only 3 miles away from where i live so i lucked out. your best bet are those mom n pop stores who know where their buisness is from (broke college students) and will selll for major cheap.


mine are the Sportmax 006 model at 18" and 45 tires.

another guy here, "honda gahndi" has his "hellement" also sitting on Sportmax rims but a different model. he was goin for the old school look.

but man, yea, good idea staying away from all that chrome. personally, i think its getting played out. if i were you, id either get rims now and sell your stocks right now before they are old or use em till their bare and buy rims. if you plan on lowering, you should get teins, thats what i have on right now. s tech lowering springs on ebay go for a cheap 180 average. but yea. im glad you got RR, we are a rare breed indeed.

oh yea, and just ask any tire and rim store if they carry sportmax, they usually do, in socal atleast.
