I had the factory exhaust system taken off from the cat/con back, and a nice new system installed.
2 1/4" pipe was used, along with a 50 series Flowmaster muffler. That should free up some lower end grunt!
I most likely should have gone with a 60 series, as the 50 is just a little bit louder than I wanted, but not by much. At freeway cruise it is barely noticeable, until I force a downshift to 3rd. Don't know if it will have any impact on MPG or not, but after a few tanks I'll be able to tell.
