With such a large influx of new, potential and future Element owners on the site and so many questions being asked of late... I decided to give a brief run down on how to find an answer to some of your basic and most popular questions. Please don't stop asking questions but this should help you in your search for answers and maybe answer your question before you even post it. :)
In case you have not clicked on any of the headings along the top of the page there is some good information that can be found there.
User CP - Where you can go to change settings for your account, it's the User Control Panel. You can create a signature here, change your location, Element year, model, etc.
FAQ/How To's - We currently have almost 50 FAQ's and How To's listed here. You'll be surprised at how much information is in this section. If there is something that someone has done that isn't covered please send me a PM with a link and I'll add it to the list.
This section also has a link to every single .pdf file from the H&A website showing how to install every Honda Accessory option in one place.
We have a whole bunch of Tire and Wheel questions answered in this section as well.
Another thing that is here comes up quite often is asking what the various User Ranks mean... that can be found here too.
Member List - Where you can find every member of the forum and perform searches based on various criteria.
Dealer Directory - A new feature and is still constantly being updated. We are putting together a Dealer Directory of Dealerships around the US that want to help EOC Members purchase a Honda.
EOC Merchandise - Where we sell a few items with the EOC logo. Look for this to expand into a full online store in the near future.
EOC Events - A calendar showing events that are coming up or have passed. We can add your event if you let us know about it via a PM with a link to the thread.
New Posts - Clicking this will give a list of all posts that are new since you last logged in or last clicked New Posts.
Search - Just as it says. Use this to search the site itself. If you click on Advanced Search then you can search on various criteria including user name, who started the thread as well as date ranges and specific forums.
Quick Links - There are lots of different options in this drop down list. Go through it and see what each one does for you.
Log Out - Just as it says... this will log you out of the EOC, but why would you want to do that? :D
In many of the forums there are what are referred to as "sticky" posts/threads. These are posts that we have placed or stuck to the top of that forum because it was deemed important. There would be useful information in those threads that could hold an answer to your question(s). For example, in the Maintenance and Service (http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38271) forum I was asked about putting some of the most common questions in a single post and stick it to the top. I did this and now you can find what are currently the top questions asked regarding common maintenance.
