He was never this c0*ky when his post-count was 999.

Rube, killer ride. Nicely done with a lot of attention to detail. I especially like your rims! Thanks for taking the time to share your pictures. You're a great example of how a little (or a lot) of effort can result in a ride you're proud to go anywhere in.

Thanks R.D. I take a lot of pride in my ride! (Hey, that rhymed). Anyone who's ever gotten in my E knows that its probably one of the cleanest cars they've ever been in. I put a lot of effort and I feel proud when others see it. Thanks.

I was gonna have the guy do the steering wheel when he did the seats but all of a sudden I got cheap and didn't want to pay the extra $75.00 for him to do it. The process is very hard and timely. In hind sight I should have just "bit the bullet" and had it done. Maybe I'll get it done sometime down the line.

Looks good Rube, you sure have done a lot to your E. Do you plan on painting the pieces of trim left that are still the fake woodgrain? I think it would really complete the look of the interior if you had those done, right now those pieces don't seem to fit in right.

By the way, nice floor mats in the back, we got the same ones from walmart for the front and back when we have our carpeted mats in.

Prior to getting the painted pieces I had the wood grain pieces on my car. Because I didn't have the same pieces that I could paint I had to leave them on cuase if I took them off I would have to really clean off the area and I was afraid it wouldn't good. I hope to see if I can get (just) the pieces I need and paint them to match.

I was just looking at your photos and noticing that even your floor mats are spotless. That's a nice E man, I'm highly impressed!

Thanks Acid,

I really take a lot of pride in my ride. Nothing against anyone but I always believed a clean car drives better. Having the carpets is really nice.

yea... the wood grain has to go lol!!! its a sore thumB!! im just busting ur balls... i know how hard that wood trim was to take off... you almost took off your thumb!!!... im htinking if you get a brushed alum trim to go over the door handles and shifter.. it would look much better.. so if you were worried about taking the wood off.. and having it look like crap.... take em off... and put a different trim :) cheap fix! just my 2 cents.....

Yo Gregg: Ya know I value your opinion. I will look into what you said. I agree, the wood grain just doesn't look good at all. But as you know, taking it off is a b***h. I've got so many things going on its hard to figure out which to do first. BTW - I'm taking off from work Friday and meeting Mark at his house in the Bronx. He's helping me put in the Kickers I got. If you wanna stop by with the seat covers let me know. We plan on meeting around 3 PM. Can't wait to take some side by side pics of our Es. We should definitely go to a view meets together. Hope all works out for you with the accident.
