I love the rustler. I had one of those back in the day, but I got bored with electric and went 1/10 scale nitro, and then got bored with that. I've moved up to a 1/8 scale buggies years ago and I've never looked back. Right now I have an Ofna Ultra MBX Pro with the pivot ball suspension upgrade, custom shock towers, and a bad-@$$ .21 engine. I was just at the local BMX track getting some big air last weekend.

I remember When I first got into the RC stuff. I began with a Team-Losi JR-T, then a Tamiya BullHead. Next came my first gasser, Traxxas Nitro Hawk, the predecessor of the rustler. I got out for a few years and got back in when teh T-maxx came out. GOt one of those and had it all modded out, then go bored with it. Plus the Nitros where too much of a hassle to keep clean and became very finicky when the seasons changed. I still have my little Nikko Hummer and Mini Cooper.

Those were the days! My two brothers and I would ride our bikes over to the track near my house and race all day. And by race of course i mean spend all day fixing the cars because they broke every five minutes. Damn carbon fiber being so fast and so light.... but so fragile!

Does anyone remember when Cox made the "gas" cars and planes. I started with those, the photo is a 1994 model, never flown (crashed too many). Right now I own 3 Tamiyas 1 Team Losi and 1 Nitro Duratrax. I used to race, but there aren't any racing places left in this area. Plenty of places to fly, so I'm getting into that. I bought a helicopter during the summer, but its been hard to learn.
