first night home had to put my pioneer in,sounds better already even with the stock speakers.next my sub and its amp,maybe this weekend.ill have to do some more reading in here for wire routing and good places to put an amp.

jpeaslee the speakers from my pickup are wrong for the element,so ill replace them soon.looking at some higher end pioneers for my doors.i do still have my mono sub amp and boston dual vc sub which i hope to install soon.how did you run your wires?tonight i found a grommet in the fire wall that looks prime for the power cable,if you look in the drivers side wheel well and look behind the rack and pinion there is a grommet about the size of quarter.inside its covered by the sound deadener right behind the brake.then i think everything could go under the doorway molding.havent decided where to put the sub amp,maybe on the sub box.

I'm pretty sure several people have used that grommet before. I ran mine around the firewall rather than through. I went on the inside of the driver's fender, and came out in the door sill and then went in through the grommet that goes into the cabin. Then ran the wire to a distro block in stock sub area and split the wire to my amps under each front seat.
