Just picked it up two weeks this past Sat. and love it! http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif
:D

Now I've found this site so the mods can begin........

1) WTF is up with that horn!! I've seen a few threads but am frankly not up to the do-it-yourself replacement at this point.....any suggestions?

2) I WILL be searching the forums for the Home Depot Gutter Guard....right away!

3) other than using the bike fork mounts or bungeeing the bike to a handle, anyone have any clever bike handling solutions??

4) anyone add a small, wide-angle mirror to the side mirros to aid with the blind spots??

BTW, I love the Galaxy Gray and get many positive comments on the color.

Been shopping for this for about 3 years (waiting for the $$$) and got to know the GM of my local dealer so my price was right......unfortunately I didn't plan on my old ride going "four paws to the sky" but it happened during the week after I test drove the EX and luckily it was still in stock when I called......ended up with AWD that I didn't plan on and was lucky to get my choice in color (was the one we drove, which endeared us to the color)....

Looking forward to all the great ideas!!

Thanks,
Paul

Welcome to the club! I'm still new myself :D I have two small convexed mirros on my side mirros, they work pretty well. I don't know why you don't like the horn.....it sounds a lot manlier than my old Civic.

Just the abrupt monotone "honk" is kinda chessy (one persons opinion) and I would like it to be less "tinny"........you know, more like a concert horn than a tin play horn........again just my .02.....

Congrats and Welcome to the EOC!
If you do the HD gutter gaurd or some other kind(Grilleguy/Billet etc) and
decide to take the front end of your E (very quick and easy) to install it,
I found out thanks to a tip from wastedonanime, that if you point the stock horn firing downward instead of stock location that there is a slight improvement.
That being said,I'd still like to get a louder horn:rolleyes:

O.K. three fillups done and based on my spreadsheet says:

Avg. MPG is between 21.5 and 21.9.........

Since I do mostly city driving and am not the most "graceful" driver......I am nicely surprised.
