Looking at the images of HC's GCM teardrop trailer reignited my interest in getting a trailer for "Bike Box". When I first followed the thread I went up to our local dealer (Oyster Point Motorcars in Newport News, VA) and spent a long time climbing all over a couple of models. Great for camping, but not very versatile for dual use (camping and hauling / securing bikes). "Bike Box" is a poster boy for Thule, but when my wife, son and daughter are together on a multi-day bike event, we've got more bikes (http://www.easyracers.com/, http://www.bacchettabikes.com/, http://www.habcycles.com/ and soon http://www.catrike.com/) than we can carry on extended trips where you need more security than you get from a roof or rear rack (even locked).

Saw a motorcycle trailer on Cycle North Carolina (http://www.ncsports.org/nccyclemain.php) a couple weeks ago made by Chariot Trailers of Tampa, FL. The one I saw (Shuttle 16) was too large for an E, but was dual camper / bicycle hauler configured. Checking out (http://www.chariot-trailer.com/) they make a model called the Shuttle 10-6 which is ideal for the E. Starting next month they are updating it with an improved design which will be called the Shuttle 11-0. This model comes standard with many of the 10-6 extras. They are built to order, you can get a side door (includes a screen door), roof vents, 110v hook-up, reinforced pads for Thule / Yakima bases. The standard colors are white or black, but they will custom paint it for you, even GCM. If I order next week, it will be ready for pick-up (in Tampa) mid-March. Just in time for Bike Florida (http://www.bikeflorida.org/), which starts near by in Clearwater.

Does anyone own or have any experience with Chariot trailers?

Incredibly lightweight trailers! Sure would be nice to have a new setup in the spring. Mine's barely going to be used this year so I'm going to eager for March, too.

Best of luck with the shopping process.
