Went through ALL the pages of the images section that were still showing pics, and picked out all the ones I thought most tuner/street to make an ultimate thread of them. If i missed yours sorry, please add them and if someone could make it sticky that would be really cool, thanks. enjoy

that isn't a bad idea. many car forums have separate sections for each color...aka our lil brother the scion XB's site has that. Each color has its own area for their picture threads.

The wife started calling my TRP that and it kinda pissed me off! She says my Element is all I call about. That's not true but I do take care of it because it's mine. I never let it get dirty and if it does, I immediately take action on it. It's never got a bunch of junk or trash in it like her car. It is my "Precious" but I don't idolize it.

Chozn, I get the same from my wife. I feel the same way about my E as you do. I may not wax and polish as much as I want, but I cannot stand trash in the car. Mine and my wife's car are like night and day. Although she calls my E "Bento" (japanese box, lunch box), she has affectionately named my other car "Valentine", since she claims it is my first love.

I know what you SM00th! I can't stand a dirty ride. In fact, I've been dubbed to have the cleanest state police car in the state. I've just turned down getting a new Mustang as a patrol car.

Nightmare, I can feel your pain! When ever Dance comes to my house which has been a couple of times, after he leaves I get a few neighbors who will ask me "When am I going to fix mine up like that fancy one that was in your driveway the other day?"

Again, thats why I like the Element. You can do a little or a lot and make it a great looking vehicle for YOU.

I hate a dirty car... My E is washed, vacuumed, and murphy oiled once a week. It wasn't all that long ago that I was listening to my boyfriend go on and on about modding the Fit but now every time I talk about modding the E, he rolls his eyes and tells me I'm crazy.

I definitely am like Gollum in the sense that I keep a close eye on my E... park far away in parking lots, walk around it once every time before getting in to check for any dents, dings, or bird bombs, check out the window every couple of hours at home (i can't trust my neighbors as far as I can throw them), etc.

You should see that thing in action (the Element D). It's a shame that it isn't a purchasable option. I am sure some of us would want a ~500hp V6 twin turbo RWD element... :D

Chief - I can't wait to see how yours is going to look after it comes out of the shop. As for 'the baby', well, it still needs a little bit of work before it's done. (I refer to it as 'it' after getting into a heated argument with my coworker that my E can not be a girl based on the way it looks. "It's too much of a dude." :-()

I'd be interested in having some graphics like the one's above on mine in black and maybe a grey or deeper red. I would want it to be subtle at best.
The Have about two coats of Zaino on the Element now and haven't waxed it in about two months. I need to put two more coats on it and since I got this new orbital buffer, I need to get on it. I've used it on the new '08 Crown Vic Interceptor but not the Element or the Civic.

Yea, he sold it. Not sure why. Maybe the wife or girlfriend. I know he had some OUTSTANDING MODELS in most of his pics. I was hoping it would have continued or at least a final photo spread we could have immortalized! He told me someone bought it from the dealership but he had no info on them or whether or not they had the info on the EOC. Yeah Ghandi he one-offed it himself using foam for the mold. He said it didn't come out exactly like he wanted it to but I thought it looked great.

If you really love white, I'd still go for it as squads in the only white one I've ever seen. You could still add your own touch to make it unique. You know every day I drive my E and someone revs their engine next to me I think "Damn I need that turbo!" :D

The convertable was done by the Columbus Honda Plant as a demo....don't know what ever became of it. Heard a rumor that they got rid of it (i.e. crushed it) but that's just a rumor. T-Mac I think would know for sure.

That is a strange, due to the fact that white has always been a basic Honda color in their line-up from the very beginning. Maybe they're waiting for the 2009 body style change?!!

I dont know about ridiculous looking. There is at least that one custom painted white E (pic posted earlier) and it looks great IMO. Maybe it just doesn't go with the idea behind the E. White is too easy to get 'dirty' compared to all the other colors. Although, there have been some funky colors that came out for the E. *shrug* Someone over at Honda got the idea to not include white for some reason I guess. Maybe the 2009's will offer it. Would be interesting to see.

An E with painted panels or SC would look good in white. An LX with the drak grey/black panels would resemble a Panda Bear.

There is a member here by the name of Squadone. He painted the entire E, panels and all white. He also cutout the lower secytion of the front bumper and custom made his own. HE has one sick looking E.

I think SquadONE's Element is beautiful! All white, which I think an all white E would be sweet! The custom bumper he did (all on his own) was a nice touch. I was talking like he might make this custom bumper a kit for members to buy but I haven't heard anymore from that on his original thread here: http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24295&highlight=squadone

Most have suggested that Honda didn't make a white E because it would look like a milk truck

That said I would rather see a pearl cream rather then a flat white. Similar to the color cadillac has.

They probably didn't offer white because:

It would look like a police car Black or Grey with White....

Also as Utilitarian as the Element is white would get dirty

NbpGuy...Total props on the Civic, that's a tuner! Your 'E' looks really nice, but it's got more of that "off road" type of thing going for it! But It's still a really good looking 'E'! Personally for me, I am more into a "JDM" type of flavor, and I know that you understand where I'm coming from!

They're not inserts. I talked to the owner of this Element a long time ago when he first did this mod and what he did was painted the inside housing of the foglight area with silver paint. I can't advise if it was a gloss but I don't think so. He said the trim you see is nothing more the door edge trim that he cut, glued together in a circle and then glued it to the facia of the bumber cover around the opening and he said he never had any problems with it coming off. I started to follow his lead on this mod with my previous '03 SMM but I didn't. I did find that Mercury I believe it is, has a mini van that does have inserts that they sell would do this same mod. Something to thing about.

i first got my wheels AWI model 804 and then Stern ST-2 Touring Chrome and lowering springs Teins. next, i added in a screen Jensen, and Kicker woofers and Hifonics amp with my own custom built box. i built cabinets for 4 summers, so i figure i could build a box instead. did the measurements and specs from kicker myself. next, i got a HID kit with 6000k bulbs, and ended up converting my car to a D2S Porsche bi-xenon projector. from there, i added the side markers, reverse camera, paint job, side rails, mud flaps, led signals, led liscense plate, camber kit (more money than i expected) exhaust system with an open header cut out ( REALLY REALLY LOUD WITH A TOUCH OF A SWITCH) and built in navigation

Have to agree with Chief, simply Beautiful. . .

Everything looks good and in order. Color, style and as Chief said, VIP Style!!! I'm lost for words. You indeed need to come around more often. What did or should I say how did it start out at inception? We'd love to hear all that you've done to bring it to where it is today.

Thanks for sharing!

"The OC" is still rolling at the front of the line, which I'm sure you know, SoCal sets styles, versus following them! And your ride, totally has that SoCal flavor. That's also what I've always dug about Dance's 'E', Burn's, Advan's, DrkblkSC, g$$'s, and a few others, that look like they should be caravaning down Pacific Coast Highway. I love watching Chozn's ride making the tranformation, and Barvel is also heading in that direction too.

To me it's the feel and the look of the ride, it almost looks in motion, even when it's standing still. There is a "VIP STYLE" website that Burn turned me on to, and all the rides on there are "off-the-hook!" Keep up the great look you've got going, it can only get better!!!

VIP and JDM are very different. I don't think I've seen any VIP Elements. The American VIP movement or shall I say American version of VIP is more along the lines of DUB. I shouldn't say movement because there are those who go the VIP route and do it true to form. Some may think that VIP is the Japanese version of DUB but VIP has it's own set of "rules".

JDM is similar in that it reflects how a tuned ride in Japan would look like. Basically JDM would be like taking a tuned car off the streets of Tokyo and bringing it here.

Very true. There are only a handful of cars that can be a "VIP" car. And only a few that we have in the US market. The rest are "VIP" styled or influenced.

I've been eyeing a Q45 for my next ride, VIP potential indeed... :D

Sick Ride nonetheless ADVAN...

That's an '07 SC if I'm not mistaken. Don't know what interior mods he has but looks like a drop, custom wheels (20's?), and he painted the pillars black around the windows.

Don't remember the guys screen name but any of the tuner type threads he should be in there.....from Flordia if I'm not mistaken.

I also thought he put it up for sell right after he did all that to it. Not sure if he was in the travesty we have over in Iraq or not. My saying that by no means, means that I don't support our troops. Just a needless war! I degress.

But no, I could have sworn he put this SC up on the block which I didn't understand and you're right Dance, it was in Florida.

Yea, and I think he was leaving it up to his wife to sell for him after he deployed. I also saw it on Ebay as well. no issues that i can tell. as far as pros and cons, the only con is the map light placement. i made up for that by installing a rear view mirror with map lights built in. other than that, the pros far outweigh any cons in my opinion.

heishin - You're always welcome back whether you're driving an E or not...but you know us....we'd rather have you driving an E. :D

supermaruchi - That's Chief's E....sounds like you've done your homework. 19's will fit real nice and if you lower it make sure to get the proper offset 45mm is stock.

Ill take the plunge again one of these days. Ill be back!!! haha
Ill just be lurking around.

Eventually, I'd like to drop it like the car in the first pic on page 24

I'm in it for the looks/handling more than the ride. I'm assuming 20's will make the ride superharsh so I think 18's or 19's would be good?

I was running 18's then, with a 45mm off-set, with no problems, even though I'm lowered. I have since moved up to 19's, but I increased my off-set to 49mm's to make up the difference, and I'm still tucking perfectly! Whatever you decide, just make sure your off-set is correct.

Yea, and I think he was leaving it up to his wife to sell for him after he deployed. I also saw it on Ebay as well. Unknown whether it sold or not but I remember seeing and saying I really like the way it sits compared to other SC's I've seen. Its a look I would have been going for had I had an SC.

PEace!

Wtf?? Ebay for real? I never put my E up on ebay. Maybe somebody used one of my pics? I'm not even married or in the armed forces. That's really strange....I was just browsing this thread and came upon this. O well, I got a good laugh out of it!:)

Even though my E doesn't look like this anymore, I like this pic...
