Well, after doing tons of research (maybe a bit too much) and your guy's advice, I drove over to the Tire Rack (I am only about 30 miles away) and hot new shoes for my "E".
I had the old metal rims and the OEM tires...so I went for 16" RIAL rims and 215-70-16 Yokohama Geolanders.... FORTUNATELY, the Yokohama came with a 30 trial..... The first day it rained, I wanted to check the tires and I was not very happy with the wet traction.
Went back to Tire Rack and got me 225-70-16 Pirelli Scorpion ATR.... THEY ARE WONDERFUL!!!! day and night!!!

I have 2000 miles on mine and have nothing but praises for them!

Scorpion AT's were on my Jeep YJ when I bought it over four years ago...they have done pretty well for 35k+ miles with regular rotations...but they are about done now.

21,000 on my 30x9.50x15 Scorpions, and I still love mine. Yee-haa! :cool:
