Hi! I recently received my exhaust pipe finisher and the instructions indicate tightening 'the flange bolt to 7lb-ft.' Is it really necessary to use a torque wrench in this installation? I don't have much experience with the tool, but this doesn't seem like a time when it would warrant use... Any suggestions?

Return it and get a $10 one from walmart that bolts to the pipe. :D
