Anybody have any experience with aftermarket TPMS on an older Element?
I'm looking at an aftermarket system called "Tyredog" from Sigma Automotive:

Any thoughts would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.

I would gladly give you my TPMS.... You just need to find a way to remove this annoying government mandated crapola system from my '07.
A $6.00 analog guage will work for years and never need new battery:rolleyes:

I purchased valve caps at O'Reillys that show tire pressure . I installed the 32 lb ones, the cap shows green at 32 lbs, turns to yellow and then red as the tire loses pressure. Cost about $10.

I have used this on some equipment at work,
http://www.tirepressuremonitor.com/
it dosen't require installing a sensor on the wheel (in the tire?). It has a sensor that screws on the valve stem. This may be a little funky for a car. It can display the actual pressure in the tire and sets off a alarm if it drops 12% of what it was when you attached the sensor.

Is there no way to bypass the warning light on the 07s if you remove then tpms meters?
