Took the dog and the E to join some folks to hike, camp, and unwind in the California deserts (Rainbow Basin) this past weekend.

Yeah, baby!

Am now looking to buy the dog some booties for the rocky terrain. He did fine with the hikes, but I was a worried daddy because of all the jagged rocks. Any suggestions on brand? I'm looking at a pair for $49 from Dr. Foster & Smith.

Love the pics. Especially the rock and the sunset. Good to see Nik again. But we need more of him...remember it's all about the dog. :D

He got to meet a lot of new people this trip. As usual, folks start out being a little afraid of him because of his size (105 lbs), but very quickly realize that he's very friendly (and very fond of food).

Thanks for posting more of Nikko. I also saw the posts in the other thread. Your dog is a cutie...and looks so hug-able. -g
