: Yeah, we did it!!!!!!!!!! New Element Owners in Minnesota!!!!!!!!!!
success051604 12-08-2007, 05:49 PM Hello everyone! My wife and I decided to purchase an Element.
We purchased a 2004 Honda Element EX from Walser Honda. In my opinion, we got a pretty good deal. $15,492.00 for a one-owner EX with only 24k miles. We looked around and tried to get the best deal based on the lowest amount of miles. Good deal or not we're excited to get one. We read all of the reviews online. However, coming to this website and reading all of the owners posts and seeing first hand at how much you all LOVE your Elements is what made us decide to go with it.
Is there a Midwest Club? We are located in Eagan.
Let us know what you think!

givememytoys 12-08-2007, 05:54 PM Shinny and clean you got a great ride and a good deal with the extra low
mileage. Enjoy
success051604 12-08-2007, 06:01 PM Thanks! I appreciate the comments. I hope it turns out to be a fun ride for my wife. If so, I may consider trading my Toyota Tacoma in for another.
Mike
carvingbarn 12-08-2007, 06:05 PM Nice looking E. I hope you enjoy yours as much as we do ours. Welcome to the forum.
Rocket Dog 12-08-2007, 06:40 PM Your profile, when filled in, will look something like this:

(probably have some of the details wrong but...prod prod)
Dom.five 12-08-2007, 07:02 PM success051604 Just ignore the Rocket dog! He is trying to fill in for IRV. He is failing miserably. There will never be another IRV !!
Welcome to the club! Glad you found us. You will find a wealth of information about your new E in this forum. There is a how to's Section at the top of this page that is worth every cent you paid for your computer and more. If you like people, You have come to the proper place. This place is full of a bunch of the most fantastic people, you will ever have a chance to meet.
They are a helpful, funny bunch of nuts. Please don't be put off by the humor, Enjoy it. It's all in good fun.
Rocket Dog just does not know about the new nesting arrangements. I will have to send him some links. There will be some E's invading his space next spring for the tagging. He will be hosting the event!
Good luck with your new car!
I hope to have the chance to meet you in the future.
Dom

chozn4service 12-09-2007, 07:07 PM Welcome to the best online auto club around success051604. There is a warehouse of knowledge here. You will learn a lot about the Element, what you can do to it and for it to make it personal. First thing you need to do is get an EOC decal and slap that on the back of the ride. Check with overstock in the annoucement area and see if there are any hoodies and T's left for you and the Mrs so you guys can have some EOC gear to wear.
As for the Midwest, there are regions set up within the body of the EOC and yes, there is a Midwest Region and we do try to get together at least once a year, generally there's an opportunity in the Fall and we also have some guys/gals who like to get together around the Indy500 week. Check the bottom of the Forum page and see where you line up geographically and make your presence know. It seems like all the states try to do things locally and then come together at some point and then of course there is the National E-Vent. This past year in Vegas, last year in St. Louis and the year before that at the Honda plant where the Element is produced in Marysville, OH and there is talk of repeat visit there for '08 but it has not been officially annoucned by T MAC where and when the National E-Vent will be but generally we're talking around July. So try to keep some time available for that.
Glad you found us and enjoy the ride!
Peace!
elementbryon 12-09-2007, 10:02 PM Nice to see someone getting a good deal on a used E. Most of the used ones I see up here are ridiculously priced. It would be nice to have a mini meet before we all get cabin fever. Have fun with the new Element and welcome to thE club!
chozn4service 12-09-2007, 10:09 PM Elements seem to hold their value quite well. I know I paid $17,850 for my 2003 and got $15,900 for it on a trade for my current E. This all 3 years and 29K miles later.
Element Art 12-10-2007, 09:11 PM Hey, Welcome to the cult! You're going to love the E. There are several Twin Cities members that get together for coffee once in a while. Several of us have been itching for a mini meet up so keep an eye out or suggest something yourself.
T Mac 12-10-2007, 09:13 PM Congrats and welcome to the EOC! Glad to have you.
success051604 12-17-2007, 01:17 PM Keep us posted is you all decide to meet up!
hownowcb 12-20-2007, 06:00 PM I'm in Hopkins now, though my sig information says St. Paul. See lots of them in Hopkins -- isn't that where Walser Honda is? Maybe after the holidays we can arrange a meet. Element Art and some other few locals have enjoyed getting together. Mine is the middle Element in his picture a page or two back.

I have lots of free time between Christmas and New Years. I think a coffee run is in order. Someone want to set a date, place and time? Anyone...anyone...Bueller?...
haulingstuff 12-20-2007, 09:23 PM Oh hey, what's up?
Success#, welcome to the club, nice ride.
I saw 5 E's in 5 minutes yesterday and wasn't driving by a dealership. It was weird.
Hownow, I believe it that Hopkins Honda is in Hopkins, where did you say you live? I think Walser is in Burnsville. I looked there once but felt a rather cold shoulder (probably due to my slovenly appearance... it's a test). The slovenly appearance didn't phase the Hopkins folks at all, where did you say you live?
I'm down for coffee (or beer) if I'm available. Aside from 12/28-01/01, I'm pretty available. Oh, except for 01/10-01/17 when I'll be in Playa Del Carmen :D:D:D.
I'm not stopping by here so frequently lately, so email me if a time/location is determined.
Happy Holidays
HS
Speedy Toaster Dave 12-21-2007, 05:46 AM WHEW!! i thought IRV left can't replace him''..:D
Twilightzero 12-21-2007, 08:34 AM Welcome & greetings from "the Rochester guy" :D If you're ever down this way let me know and I'll make sure you leave here stuffed with good home cooked food! And if you twin cities folks decide to get together for a coffee, make sure I know and I'll wander up if I'm at all available!
And the obligatory "Welcome to the asylum, your strait jacket will be ready shortly"
protaganis 12-25-2007, 02:43 AM WOW, you got a great deal for your E, mine is older with more miles and I paid more for it. I see that I wasn't the only one to be convinced that an Element would be a great investment by reading the forums. Best investment in ten years. I think you'll love the E, I keep finding neat little things about it that make me say "Why didn't they put that in my other cars? It's a good idea." As for the dealer in Hopkins, I think you're talking about Luther Hopkins Honda. That's where I purchased mine.
If we come up with a coffee (or beer) mini-meet. I'd be happy to meet y'all (bad grammar, I know).
