I live in northwest New Jersey and as hard as I try I can't seem to find any cool "off the beaten path" type places. No matter where I go its pavement, over crowed, or private land. Its hard to even find a dirt road sometimes. Does anyone in the area know of any cool places to take my element to play? Maybe near a fishing, canoeing, or hiking spot. Thanks

Go see your county land office for a map...

And maybe hit up a couple local offroad clubs/forums. I know from a jeep forum that I post at that there plenty of them out that way...

As a former NJer. I understand...you can try state parks like Stockton if that is close to you. A few years ago I went camping at Wharton State park down south and there were a lot of logging roads. They were fun even though at that time I was in a jeep liberty.
