Hi all...
I am a fan of movies such as Back to the Future II and Demolition Man. While watching these movies, I couldn't help but notice that our precious Element could roll through either of these movies without even looking out of place.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Are there any other movies our beloved 'E' might fit in?

I am also a futurist... I can't think of any movies off the top of my head but watching BTTF2 recently (have the set on DVD) I noticed they used a Ford Probe as one of the "future cars." Funny. Now that I think of it, it would have been pretty cool to see an E driving up a building in Minority Report :)

Well, it's nice to see someone else with the same type of ideas. I hope you were as excited about the BTTF Trilogy finally coming out on DVD as I was.
I was actually concidering making some wheel covers for my 'E' to make it look like a hovercar. If you watch close, there are different types on the cars. I think the ones on the Jeep would look best. What do you think? Maybe I can touch-up a picture of my 'E' so that I can see it the way I'm imagining.

The movie "Robocop" comes to mind. I remember they used the Ford Taurus, which was brand new at the time as a police car, since it was so "futuristic" looking in the mid-80's.
The 'E' would be right at home in this futuristic classic!

Oh, we tried to find the BTTF series when we first got our DVD player... we were dissapointed when we couldn't find it. After a couple of years of waiting we finally got it. (Tron too... boy is that movie ever dated).
Oooh... Total Recall had some pretty angular cars. The E would make a pretty cool Johnny Cab.

If you watch the movie closely, I believe it is called a "SUX-6000", which is what everyone who owns a Taurus calls them!

Speaking of a Taurus, which might deviate a little from the thread, I came across a "Tortouise", the name given to this guys Taurus because he got a lemon and did not like it. He put the Tortouis badge on it, had "Lemon" for a license plate, and a dictionary description of tortouise with the addendum "see Ford Product, Tortouise, a slow moving vehicle."
