Those things are all over California. I can't figure out why anybody would compare them to the E.

Just think, they will hit the remaining US states in Feb. Personally I don't think the Scion XB is ugly, it's kindof cool looking but not as useful as the AWD Element. I am kindof looking foward to seeing an XB in person. For 13k your getting quality Toyota reliability and i'm sure it's a head turner like the E.

I was introducing my E to a friend this weekend and he asked "have you seen those little lunch box looking things?" I finally figured out he was talking about a scion. There are many in CA - I do not find them at all attractive, but I have noticed they aer very small in comparison ( I bet they are easier to park)!

Amy, why do you feel the E is difficult to park? I think the E's short wheel base makes it a breeze to park.

Hey, don't forget the nose-to-butt length of the Element is actually shorter than a Honda Civic!

I am with Amy...I find the E a bit hard to park, but I think it is a whole mind set thang. When you are inside the E it feels as if you are in a vast spacious cavern.....so you get that kinda "I'm so big, this space is so small" feeling.

"I'm so big, this space is so small"
Diane, this should solicit a comment from the Boomer.

Bill:

It is a relative expression. My prior vehicle was a Corolla. I am a woman. Parking stalls in Santa Rosa seem to be narrow. A+B+C = D.
