This was posted on another board I frequent. I just thought I'd share it here so we could give props to our E's. :D

CAR REVIEWS (by make and model)

You can find any number of Web sites that review cars for all the usual reasons, which is why we don't spend a lot of time dwelling on horsepower, handling and other things that make the usual lot of car reviewer hearts go pitty-pat. We're going to figure you know all about how many cupholders a car has, and how many pre-teen soccer stars you can fit in it. So our reviews are about ... well ... dogs. How well does a car hold dogs and their gear? How easy it is to get crates into the back or otherwise restrain a dog for safety? Can you get air in the back? Do the seats fold flat? And how economic is the vehicle?
We're adding reviews all the time, so if you don't see what you're looking for, check back or drop us a note (dogcars@petconnection.com).

Barks of agreement from some golden Element fans (http://dogcars.com/blog/?p=39)

December 20th, 2007
Our selection last week of the top DogCars (http://dogcars.com/blog/?p=34)brought us a lot of attention. A few thought it was a joke — who buys a car based on what a dog finds comfortable? Others thought it was a great idea (or should that be grrrreat idea?) but disagreed with our choices.
Buying a vehicle to accommodate your dog isn’t any crazier than buying one to tow a boat, fit mountain bikes in, whatever your lifestyle dicates. Dogs are more popular than ever before, and although small dogs have been gaining like crazy, big dogs still remain the most popular. So, yeah, our official position is that it’s a fantastic idea to consider your dog’s comfort and safety when shopping for a vehicle.
Seriously, you mean there are people who don’t?
We don’t get that.
As for disagreeing with our selections, well, everyone’s entitled, right? You bet! We love comments on the reviews and on this blog as well, whether you agree or disagree.

Davis and Steff Haines family of Pennsylvania aren’t disagreeing with our top choice of the Honda Element, though. In fact, they sent us a picture of their three goldens in the family Element. They write:
Thought you guys might like to see how our three Goldens (L-R, Madison, Finn, and “KC” http://dogcars.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif have been enjoying their Honda Element for the past 3 1/2 years!! Glad you agree with our choice of the best dog car several years ago!

Thanks, David and Steff, and paws up to Madison, Finn and KC!

Is there any doubt that the element is the perfect car for dogs? Doesn't every dog owner know this? I saw an Element last week with the plates: K9 UNIT.

I can't wait to get myself a dog -a rough collie or a golden retreiver.
