you're gonna need a wiring harness for the head unit to honda, and possibly a dash kit, but if you have a single din radio to begin with, I'm not sure.

Ordered it from Crutchfield, according to the order invoice thats included (wireing harness) and yes, I own a DX so it is single DIN (E). I also ordered the Wire kits for the Amps (the reciever comes with a small amp which i plan on using for my rear door speakers which are aftermarket sony's, i will probably end up replacing them as well
Without any further complications i will be installing this in approx a month, and yes for all you visual types, i will in fact have my camera in hand... This will be my first AMP and Sub Install, and the In dash will be my second install, but my first with a reciever with these sort of options;) IM TOTALY STOKED!

I'd like to know your experience with the crutchfield dash kit. Maybe I just didn't assemble it right, but it does't seem like it sits flush. I thought I "fixed" it today but I only made it worse

Well I drive the DX and I think (overseas so i cant check right now :-( ) i think it is single DIN, so it should fit without the whole kit n kaboodle. SOOOOO.... if you "Fix" it too much and need a replacement, i will have one for ya ;)
The kit should be shipping very soon... but I will have to wait untill about Feb to install it (again the overseas thing) but tune back in about mid feb and i should have a decent setup. I plan on Soldering the connections (i have some=very slight experience with this). and i think i will use a Switch on the amp so i can turn the boom off or on at my convenience... Radio Shack will be my friend:wink: now what kind of switch to use? i was thinking toggle, maybe even one like in aircraft with the red cover (http://www.autobarn.net/plsw261.html)... that might look sweet ;)
Also, while im at it... when I'm running these wires and such all the way to the back o my E... should i also run some additional wires for 12v Outlets while i have all the covers off? or have they already run wires back there for these(doubtful)? Are there any other Mods that require wires run from the front to the back? Seems like it would be nice to take care of them all(and label them) when i do this so i dont have to rip the panels up again.
Anybody got any Wish i wouldve's from this sort of thing?
