For all my "Elementos Latinos", honorary members and others who may just wanna hang out a while - I'll be getting some work done on my E on Monday, Jan. 21st. down in "Da Bronx". I'll be having my rear view camera put int and my GPS system checked out, along with the speakers in the rear of the car. Anyone wanna hang out for a while just let me know and I will give you the exact time and place. TripleM, Loco, Tank and MusicBox know exactly where I'll be so if you guys aren't doing anything stop by. If anyone needs some electronic work done and you're near there this could be an opportunity to get a good deal. Hope to see someone there.

The place works on all cars. They do a lot of electrical work, plus window tinting, alarms, auto starters, etc. They really do a good job and have decent prices. I've gotten a lot of work done there along with Loco, TripleM30, Tank and his Dad.
BTW - have a great time on Sunday. Please don't drink tooooooooo many beers. Drive safely and don't run over anyone.:lol:

I'll need an aftermarket alarm/remote starter put in eventually. What systems do they use? I was hoping to find a good place that will put in a compustar given the MT system they have. Could also use 20% tint on the front windows. I would do it now but I'm kind of broke after grad school app fees.

I may stop by... I have to head to C.W. Post early in the morning and don't have to be at work until 2:30 in Melville so just maybe I'll swing over. Address?

Good to hear. I've been looking/reading up on the compustar's since someone posted their DIY MT install. I'll most likely definitely go with them.

Okay - Here's the scoop about this coming Monday. The Rube will be at East Fordham Auro Sound on 2514 Hoffman Street (Da Bronx) at about 10 AM. I will be getting some work done on my E. The shop is small and kinda looks like a hole in the wall but the work is good and Mudar (the owner) is a great guy. About 6-7 of us have gone there with our Es and so far have been satisfied. Right across the shop is a "White Castle" that's right on Fordham Road. The number to the place is (718) 364-5070If anyone plans on stopping by and needs my cell number just let me know. This is not so much of a "meet" as it is just hanging out with me and keeping me company while I get the work done. Of course we can always take a drive in one of the Es that comes and get some "brunch". Hope someone can make it.

I'll see what I can manage. 10 a.m. is pretty early for me considering I usually wake up at 11 every weekday. O.o

Well, yesterday Tank and I met up in Da Bronx and had some mods done on our Es. Tank got some nice new fog lights put in and I had my rear view camera installed, along with changing one of my gauge lights to "orange". Because only one of the technician's showed up we were there quite a long time but it was okay cause we were both satisfied with the results. I was hoping to see a couple of the other E-ples there but I guess everyone had someting to do. Don't know what's next on my mods list but I will keep you all posted.

DC, My Man! How's it going? Actually I didn't take my camera with me, but I saw Tank taking some pics of the work on his E. Don't know if he took any of mine. I like the look of the orange gauge light. Of course its only on the odometer but you know me, I'm gonna look into changing all the dash lights to match. Check this out, in fooling around with my Nav system I found I can change the color on the screen to "ORANGE".... Woo! The back-up camera works okay. I got it from Greg. They installed in the the key hole for the rear hatch. I can view as I drive and it also automatically goes on once I put the car in reverse. I'll see if I can take some pics of the whole thing. Of course you gotta wait till it warms up a bit here. Man, has it been coooooooooooooooooooooooold!! Say hi to "Mom" and look forward to seeing ya soon.

I took a few pics, it was a pretty interesting day @ the shop! I'll let Rube elaborate more on that if he wants. I did take a few pics of Rube's vehicle but didn't catch any of the interior. I mostly snapped shots of the fogs getting installed.

I'll post the pics later on tonight or tomorrow if I get a chance, stay tuned...
