Glenn you moved to AK? WOW! That's a helluva change. There is already a place for AK peeps to post... it is now up to you to discover where that is. If you were able to find your way to Anchorage without asking me for you then I think you can find your own little part of the EOC universe. :)

Please post pics and tell us all about your adventure up to AK, as well as what prompted this move.

WAAAHHHOOO!!! Another AK'n owner!!! :D:D:D

We (temporarily) are lumped with Canadian owners, here http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=78
due to the "low numbers" factor, even though there are SEVERAL of us here. I have created a tagging "business" card to try and drum up "business" and membership for the EOC (see Club X..., Promoting the EOC). Want to get our own group going as well......

Welcome and glad to have you in the Great White North!!!!! 8-)

It's about time you surfaced Glenn!
We wuz wonderin where you went.
Seal blubber, tundra flies and snow cones couldn't be found in Arizona huh?

Of course we want a full report of the episodes that lead to this quantum leap of longitude and latitudes.

Hey, We've heard that many Alaskans crave it and I know that you're fond of it... "are there any worth while Mexican resturants up there?"

.
Miss Ellie chased you away?
Pish Posh and impossible!
Maybe you got heat crazy and started hallucinating from all that Arizona sunshine.
Miss Ellie could never chase you away, but perhaps she can chase you back again? :)

Desperately hoping that you and your SC might make it back down to the lower 48 in August for the Wyoming/Jellystone campout.

Dang! Send pics and stuff. We miss you!

PS: If you can, please show up for Monday Nite Camp Chat (8:00 PM PST) and share some CDI'ER stories.
Many of your camping fool alumni will be there and everyone will want to hear about your latest adventures.

He turned 2 this past October, is about 37 inches tall and weighs in at 42 pounds! He's already eating me out of house and home (which I didn't think would happen until he's a teenager!)

Glenn,

Please keep in touch. I might be heading up your way soon. Had a blast with you at Humboldt. Remember all those fish we caught? I think AK is too cold for Ric so you should be safe.

Seriously, let me know what is going on up there as I am thinking of moving as well. Being a Canadian from British Columbia, that is practically my old backyard.

As far as meat on a stick...well...

Hey Greg, Glenn was just asking about you! I'm sure he'll be glad you chimed in.

And I realize now that we didn't take any pictures together while he was here ... but I assure you that Glenn and I met up for a few hours tonight and I gave him a quick tour of some neat parts of West Seattle.

He should be arriving in Anchorage in about an hour or so, assuming he didn't fall into a Mexican-food-induced coma and miss his flight. :-o

Surprised you didn't replace the SC's tires before the move since I'm sure they will cost more in the new home.

Good to hear from you Greg! Yes we did have an AWESOME fishing Adventure! 8)

Had to sell of quite a few items . . . Cost of shipping and time of year were the main factors.

Yes, I think RIC is to thin to withstand prolonged outside AK Temps! So I'm safe at least during the Winter! :-D

You can reach me on the EOC or just PM me sometime! I'm just now starting to look for work! So, hard telling were I'll end up!

Sure was NICE :) of Trina to pick me up and show me the sites! A true friend of all us EOC'ers!

We'll see about new tires come Tursday! They are M+S tires (at least they say they are).

For now Anchorage. A few months from now??? Depends on what kind of job I line up. Could end up out in the Valley! Sold the Kayak to a friend in AZ. Space & time of year helped make up my mind.

I'm sure Miss Ellie and the whole EOC gang would love to have me come down for the Jelly trip! But we'll see . . . Heck I could be married by then  But don't hold your breath (on the married thing).
