IT TURNED OUT TO BE A GREAT DAY!

First of all, I'm sure everyone agrees, thanks to DAFFY! It was a great place to be and the weather couldn't have been better. At least 13 elements showed up. Everyone that helped also deserves a hand and hats off too. The great thing about the meet besides meeting you all was that we got to get our frustrations and puzzling questions about our cars in the open. It was almost like a big discussion group. I learned a lot today and I met a lot of great people. I look forward to doing again next year and think of other things to do while were there.

As I am typing this NYOKIE is camping with his element at the mountain. He will give us a report on how it was to sleep in the element when he gets back and hopefully some night pics. I have pics that I will be posting tomorrow and I hope the people that were there will also post.

QuickTime required, and it's web-ready which means that while it's an 8.1MB movie file it'll stream just fine (as long as you're not on a teeny little dial-up). Sorry for the smallish size on the screen, but it's the only way to really get it managable for download. (I don't have the same bandwidth that the movie preview sites do!)

The movie's a combination of digital photos and some footage that I shot while I was there with my boys Connor and Stephen.

The music is, of course, by The Champs.

All I can say is AwEsOmE!!! Honda should hire you next time they do their element commerical. Really, a great job. You captured the day just great! Like I said before, "CAN'T WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN!"

:D My wife and I had a great time at Bear Mtn. It was nice to see what everyone else is doing to thier E's. Got some great ideas and was glad to finally put the faces with the screen names. Hope to see everyone again at the next meet.

The video is totally fab! It looks like everyone had a great time! Hopefully there will be a meet in between the coasts sometime in the future so that those of us in the center can join in on the fun!

SSC110 was the only "E" there with xm radio and a great install. I have pics of it that I will be posting.

Penguin's idea sounds great too. That would be a great idea.

You know I just realized something. I only took 10 pictures. We were talking about the cars so much that I forgot to take pictures. But there were other people taking pictures and I hope they will post soon.

Just a quick explanation of the pics and about some of the cars there. Nyokie's wal-mart fogs. GREAT JOB!. They look just like the factory ones I have. He even installed them w/the factory switch and rigged them so you can ue them w/just the parking lights on. He also has the hidden hitch which ,in my opinion, looks and functions alot better than the honda one. He said he was going to attempt the wiring harness.

SSC110's xm radio looks just AwEsOmE and operates so easily. The place he mounted it was great and the install was simple. He also had the half a hummer sticker and screw aerodynamics sticker on the back.

Next time I'll pay more attention to the other people's cars and stop talking lol.

We were a little lost with screen names, since we are so new to the group.

It was good to see what everyone had done to their E's and Bear Mtn is a great place to go, hadn't been there before.

I couldn't get the movie to work for some reason. Is it taken down from the site?

I just tried it and it worked fine. Maybe it went down the time you tried it.

It is 8 megs. Some providers only give us 10 mb of space. If you want, I have it and can try to e-mail it to you but some service providers allow only 2 mb attachments to mail. Let me know

will be in niagara on the lake over thanksgiving weekend. my SOP has steps and the decal i use as my avatar on the rear window. if we cross paths, hoot, honk, flash yer lights, stand on yer head bla bla bla...
