I stopped by Ikea tonight and decided to buy one of their cheap sheepskins thinking that my dogs might like it as a bed.

Well they don't sleep on it, but my big boy Goo has barely let it out of his mouth all night long. He's carrying it around like Linus with his blanket. It's very adorable. Pictures tomorrow...

I think I know what you are talking about- my dogs go nuts over sheep skin toys- I guess I gotta head over there for that! They have stuffed animals from the kid section from IKEA- they love 'em.

I've actually decided I don't want hime to play with it as a toy, even though he's extremely adorable with it in his mouth. I have no idea what kind of nasty chemicals they use to treat them, but I'm certain that they weren't intended to be used a chew tows. They're really intended for use a throw rugs (though they're small--~2'x3'). I'll still take a picture of him with it, but after that, I'll try to keep it away from him.

Oh that is different than what I was imagining. Yea, not sure I'd want them playing with that- especially ingesting pieces.

It's real sheepskin, though from a small sheep. I knew someone whose dog loved them as toys, and his lasted him for years. Goo doesn't chew on it, but he don't like to carry around in his mouth and swing it like you see in the photos. I'd love to get them one from a nice organically raised sheep, but I think it would cost a lot more than $20.
